I agree that this season wasn't the best. Specially with all the side stories, they took polin's spotlight with the francesca thing, violet + dude, and the mondrich.

Season is totally different from the 2 previous seasons. This one is base on inter thought just like the book. In episode 3 and 4 Colin don’t really talk his body language do the talking for him because he’s in thought about Penelope. Every time he shows up in a ball room you can see his looking for someone when spotted her you can right on his face that he’s dead inside 😂😂 because he sees Penelope is having while he misses her and want to be near her like he always does in season one and two. Always gossiping with Penelope cracking jokes to each other. Now she busy in hunting for a husband but he has nothing to just watching her laughing to other guys. But you on phone while watching this season you are not gonna like it. So many people making excuses about to many plots. All those plots were there since season one and two😒😒but I understand we’re more thirsty for this couple than the other two

This is so reassuring because I couldn't STAND the second half of this season. So boring and all the good storylines were shoved into the corner for some REASSSONNNN. I ordered the book because it was such a disappointment

SPOILER FOR FRANCESCA STORY The only thing I don't like is them making Francesca not sure about her feelings for John (like her face when they first kiss), to the point where she felt something for Michaela while John still alive! The hole plot of her story is her loving him and when he dies, she can't see herself having feelings for someone else because she believes she already got her chance in love.

You can take any confession from s1 and s2 and paste it on another ship because it’s so impersonal and bland. The men just yell at their woman because they were emotionally constipated. The writers even stole the ‘I burn for you’ line from kanthony and gave it to daphne and simon. That’s how generic it was. Colin’s love confessions were all very specific to his relationship to Penelope. The carriage wasn’t his big love confession. It was his ‘i have feelings for you’. Things that neither Simon or Anthony had the courage to admit until it was almost too late. But it was still second place for me as the most authentic confession. First place goes to the one where they reconcile at the ball because it’s a man checking his ego to appreciate and support the woman he loves as a whole and all of her success, instead of dimming her light like most men try to do in real life. Best bridgerton man just for that but to each their own i guess…

The acrylic nails was because miss nicola was BOOKED! She was filming another show at the same time as bridgerton for like 3 weeks and she had to have the nails in the other show. It's actually kinda funny because the nails showing up lets you know when she was filming both, because she'll have them in one scene then they'll be gone in the next and then back again 😭

I highly disagree and respectfully disagree, Colin's carriage moment. "In fact, preferring sleep because that is where I might find you." And "A feeling that is like torture but on that I can not, will not, do not want give up." Is top tier in line with Daphne's "I burn for you." (And it is Daphne's line and not Simon) And Anthony's "Bane of my existence." All 3 are the more horny 'I want you' moments, and all 3 dont get their true love confessions till later.

I think that’s the whole point of Francesca’s arc. She keeps telling her Mom that she doesn’t need fireworks, she was marrying for a security, peace, and a nice partner, but they weren’t in love. So when she meets Michaela👀 it’s like ooohhhh this is what my Mom was talking about 🙃

Omg! I was like you and skipped all of Ben’s storyline! I wished they followed more of the book where Colin found out about LW before the proposal or maybe to see Colin’s side of him following Pen in the beginning of Ep 7 to build up that tension. The pacing was just off. If they didn’t split up Polin’s love story and LW reveal, maybe it would’ve been better? Idk. I wish there were more Polin scenes. Also, they completely demolished Fran and John’s story for me with the wedding kiss and introducing Michaela. I felt like it was too soon. Maybe let them meet next season? But nope, they squeezed it in there. Overall, I loved part 1 and part 2 just didn’t hit as much as it should. I will rewatch it again but I feel like they could’ve trashed the other storylines and focused more on Polin. Here’s to hoping Polin has a better storyline in S4. Hopefully not as short as Kanthony this season. I would’ve loved to see them more as well.
