maybe not hand on patient face :)?
I hate it
It kills me some say it shouldn’t hurt!
my dentist shoved it so far in my gums it was bleeding and agony! he wont be doing it again, its not meant to hurt!
Measuring recession is different from measuring perio pocket depths. Measuring recession should not hurt, but measuring pockets might.
On the mesial you are not setting your 70 degree angle. You are leaning the instrument away from the tooth surface when it should be towards so you are on the cutting edge and not on the lateral sides.
How long does this effective?
Why i didn't find this helpful?
Is it mainly for anteriors
No wonder they try to tear your cheek off 💀
you're supposed to use the lateral side of the cavitron tip for plaque and calculus removal, not use the end part of the tip.
It's amazing what you're taught, not taught and how you're taught. Thank you.
So that it go in smoothly and when you feel you can't go deeper that's when u take the measurements? Also does a person needs some numbing to perform it? Or its not very painful?
Depends how deep pockets are this is why I should have looked after my teeth more! It hurts 😮
I ve never been numbed some gums hurt more than others with me
This channel is so underreated
Can’t thank you enough!! Makes more sense to me now
Thank you for your video but your were instrumenting the palatal and the maxillary central incisor.
Thank you for the great video! I like the "visual cues" you mention about the tip being towards the midline of the tooth! Super helpful for our Probing comp coming up in a few days!
Great video! I wish our school had this "yellow" paper as well while we are learning our descriptors for gingival exam.
Great Video! Thank you for the detailed explanation! It is my first semester at DH school so this really helps!
I'm definitely going to add the BLLB on the side to keep track & highlight the line I'm on. We've only practiced once but I'll get there! Thank you!
Can you explain why you tilt at the end?
Thank you so much for posting! The oblique strokes and using the back of the instrument to discern if the tip is on the tooth really helped me! I have an eval in 2 days so I needed this big time. Thanks again!
These videos are helping so much. None of my teachers are left handed so it’s been rough. If you have anymore left handed tips let me know ❤️
I love these examples! May I ask the product/resource you're using to be able to hard tissue chart? Working on bringing more of this forward in our RDH program. Thanks so much!
Has anyone gotten stuck interproximally?
Excellent video, A question: For maxillary left posterior, for palatal we use indirect vision with mirror at 12 o clock?
11:03 she just like cory chase 😳
Pero en la realidad, el cliente no abre la boca lo suficientemente grande como para introducir todos los dedos, podría mostrar otra técnica para estos casos??? Gracias
would you be able to do videos on live patients ? =O
can you do a video calling out the measurements while probing please!
Amazing video! I was looking for an example of heavy calculus removal with a hand scaler instead of EMS and this is exactly it
aren't we supposed to use the lateral side for probing as well? are you using them? maybe I cant really see it through the video.
Love this video, it shows all the things you wouldn't on a typodont there's a rotation, lip retraction with a mirror and trying to get a good angle to remove the calc! great job!
Is the patient numb?
How is buccal & lingual measured? Is this the front and back of tooth, sides?
Thanks for showing this instrument with a real patient! I really appreciate this tutorial refresher!!
Very helpful video. Can you send me the information from your binder as a pdf please? It will help me in the clinics..
Do I need to stay subgingival the whole time? I didn't understand what my professors said about it
But the sheet said decontamination is 0.5W
Very helpful. Thank you 😊
Great video!
No Bonnet cap no N 95 mask I wouldn’t go there
Appreciate a lefty taking time to do a video, it seems they are harder to find, as a very visual learner always have struggled to mentally reverse my visual input when instructors demonstrated with their right hand
Very good and very nice I love you
Very good and very nice I love
where can I find the yellow paper please?
Hi there! Thanks for helpful videos. Can u please share which source do u use? (i mean paper sheet with explanations). Thank you in advance!
Can you use ultrasonic on the maxillary left
This is for both hand scaling and ultrasonic fulcrum
Can you please do a left handed video using the 11/12 explorer and orban explorer . I love your videos they are so helpful!
Can you make the yellow sheet you used available to us possibly?
We need this video, very details, and good vision.
