The double hit trick is very informative, I've never thought of that except by using blink with photo, and I never really paid attention to standing same side and opposite side of dropped pallet affecting dash icon hitbox, I should try it out

At 2:47, I personally prefer to just use patroller immediately after the free hit out in open, since leech is in auto-follow, and the trait you brought indicate batter isn't immediately nearby, so batter probably is at last stop cipher, walk a few meters to get behind the wall/obstacle and I think you would have been able to bite lawyer and secure the 2nd hit. Though at the downside is spawn follower trait in cd, but main body patroller is still available in case of rebound kite. (just my preference because I'm bad at chase)
