Hello my friend 1❤
Hello 😊Thanks for watching.
Sadly, we learn nothing from silent videos, suggesting the video maker is clueless
Hi, I appreciate any comment. Thanks for watching .👍
If its inedible how do we get those medicinal properties 🙉
Chemical compounds are derived from the culture of the fungus. Likely under a laboratory setting. Thanks for watching. 👍
Thanks. How did it taste? Texture?
Honestly, it tasted very bland and nothing exciting. I would say the texture was like medium soft flat noodles. Thanks for watching. 👍😊
My favorite!
Yes! oyster mushrooms are one of the best tasting mushrooms. Thanks for watching. 👍😊
I live in the desert, but thanks for the tip! I will not forget it
Glad to help. Thanks for watching. Cheers.😊👍
Huh, well that was not too long ago, Not really into mushrooms but you're good at editing
Thanks for watching. 👍
Thanks for the walk. I didn't know about glistening ink caps.
You are so welcome!|Thanks for watching.👍😊
Yes, I have. 😊
That's great. Thanks for watching. 😊👍
I will have to look for scarlet elf caps. I've not found nor eaten them yet. I wonder if they are like amber jelly or a wood ear mushrooms. Such a brilliant color! Thank you. Congrats to your son on the fish!
A tasty mushroom and now in season. But be sure to clean and cook well. Thanks for watching. 👍😊
Moc děkuji za vzpomínku na léto. Zdravím z České republiky
Appreciating your comment. Thanks for watching. cheers.😊👍

@@the3rdmushroom850 you're welcome.❤❤
How did the saffron milkcap taste? Great chestnut haul!!
Honestly , I have not tried yet as I would like a a lot more of these before I cook them. I will let you know next time. Foragers say its delicious fruity but can taste bitter. The chestnuts were amazing. Thanks for watching😊👍
Thank you. I haven't had beefsteak fungus. I thought you could only eat the outer edge as it is very tough otherwise. Where are you, and did you find this in Jan 2024?
Hi, if you find very young fresh beefsteak you can cook and eat all of it. You are also correct that it can be tough. But these one are usually old and best left behind. Sorry, this is a late upload back in Oct/Nov. I am in east of England, UK. Thanks for watching.👍😊
For years now I've been trying to find one of these (chickens of the woods), so jealous of your find 😊
Hi, It was a lucky find and I was so excited when I saw the yellow orange colour of the mushroom. I wish you will find👍 one soon. Thanks for watching. 😊
When did you find these? Was it earlier in Autumn?
Hi, I found the Chicken of the woods late October. Thanks for watching!
Lucky find 😊
Yes! very lucky find indeed and it was delicious. Thank you for watching.
Looks like a youngish Giant Polypore?
I agree indeed. Thanks for watching. Cheers. 👍😊
Lurid bolete 😢 i think
You are likely correct. But still very difficult to be 100% sure. Thanks for watching. Cheers 👍😊
❤️
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching. Cheers.😊👍
Big 🎉
Thanks😊👍 for watching. Cheers.
Thank you. I really enjoyed this video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching again. 👍😊
Let's trip out
Thanks for watching. Cheers. 👍
All stinkhorn species are non toxic and technically edible. I have Mutinus elegans, or elegant stinkhorn, and Pseudocolus fusiformis, or squid stinkhorn growing all over my garden. They form huge clusters of eggs after it rains, and I have been cultivating them deliberately so I always have some mushrooms on hand.
Wow, that's great. I have not seen or smelled these mushrooms yet. LOL. Saw pictures and they look awesome. Thank you for watching. Cheers. 👍😊❤️
A nice Blusher, always has those lines on the skirt.
A very important key fact. Thanks for watching. Cheers. 👍😊
Lovely
Thank👍😊 You.
Thank you for posting. I enjoy your content 🍄🍄🍄
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching.👍😊
Out of curiosity, and with apologies if I am wrong, but are you Swiss?
Sorry to disappoint you, but I am not Swiss. I do use a Swiss army knife for foraging. Thank you for watching.👍😊
Just found your channel. Subscribed. Good stuff 😊
Awesome, thank you! Glad you visited and subbed.
Doesnt even look like a morel
It has a more wrinkled appearance than the true morel. thanks for watching.
Were the orange ones jack-o'-lantern?
Hi, these are your Scleroderma citrinum or Common Earthball. if you slice them in the middle the centre is black. thanks for watching.
Are they edible
Unfortunately, this type of plum & custard are not edible. Thanks for watching. Cheers
yummy yum, looks delicious!
Looks and really taste delicious. Thanks for watching. Cheers.
why don't u leave the root system? I think that's why other people cut them.
Hi, thanks for the comment. I learned there are 2 schools of thought in picking mushroom. One is cutting the stem and one is gently picking mushrooms and not just ripping it off the ground. Mycelium/roots can sill be protected by covering back the hole. As a novice I learned to start picking from the ground as mushrooms have identifying features on its base and roots for safe foraging. And the best way to protect mushrooms and its mycelium is to protect trees. Cheers and thank you for watching.
No wonder it's blushing when someone is recording the poor things exposed undercarriage 😂
Nice one . You made me laugh! Thank you for watching. Cheers 😂👍
I like to make a mushroom cream sauce with them. It's delicious .
Sounds great. I do love cream of mushroom. Thanks for watching. Cheers
Uh that’s not milk
Hi, you could say it is a milky fluid or "latex" . Thanks for watching. Cheers.
where r u from?
Hi, I'll just say that I'm living in UK. Thanks for watching. Cheers
What's the geographic location?
I am located in the south-east of England. Thanks for checking my channel. Cheers.
@@the3rdmushroom850 I'm in the northern part of California, 'across the pond', it's amazing how the mushrooms are very similar here. This type of mushroom largely grows along in the cooler climes of the cast.
This year (2022) was unusually good for bay boletes. I heard in the south west of England they were collecting kilos of these daily. But as responsible foragers you only take what you can eat. Cheers.
You Learn something everyday
We never stop learning. Thanks for watching
That is delicious for pasta or risotto
Have not tried it yet but I heard it is a tasty mushroom. Thanks for watching. Cheers.👍😊
If I saw that I would run away 💀
😂🤣Thanks for watching.
Those are tasty, in the US we call them birch boletes and are common among birch and poplar, might be genetically different than the European variety tho, there are a few species. The ones I find have more grayish color on the stem instead of orange-ish. One suggestion for future vids tho, the video is pretty kinda hard to see on my phone and would be easier without the blurry things on the sides.
Hi, thank you for the comment. I also initially thought these were the orange birch bolete but I found this type of Leccinum are the orange oak boletes, they have more of a rusty brownish specs on their stems thus an oak bolete. The birch boletes on the other hand have a more grayish darker specs on their stems. I will try to remove or improve the blurry things on the sides next time. Cheers.
Wow you found hen of the Wood mushroom 😱😍😍
Yes I did. Thank you for watching. Cheers.
Oops! Lol😂just saw English countryside! Come Tô Oregon!
Maybe one day. Thanks For watching.👍😊❤️
