Done this trip many times I might make a film of it over Ruse and Vidin crossings , My house is near Shumen so ruse is quicker but Vidin is a prettier Route but that could be because i always drive through Romania at night and Ruse is just motorways . I typically do it in 2 and half days house to house (Sunderland) In my X3 BMW being diesel it takes just under 3 tanks of fuel around 400 pounds including tolls .
I did my return trip with our 500e for 36 hours in total, cost me about £600 with the ferry and tolls and fuel. I found it not bad at all. Blagoevgrad to Slough 😁

That's a very hard thing to do but I will try. Fuel side: M104 injector rail 1000cc injectors Aem fuel pump recommend Aem fuel pressure regulator added later Ignition: We switched to ls1 coils later Factory ngk plugs, 1 step colder Ecu: Emu Black I make the plug and play wiring Turbo stuff: Kangaroos manifold 38mm wastegate 3 inch exhaust 2.5 inch custom intercooler piping Later we switched to 3 inch intercooler and piping Intake: We used the stock one and then switched to the TE Motorsport intake with 3" drive by wire Trigger kit is from TE Motorsport as well Sensors: Fuel pressure sensor Crank Cam Knock x2 Coolant Air temp W204 pedal inside the car (for the dbw) We did a lot of stuff and it was long time ago now but that's majority

How did you make those inside buttons 😮 Cruise control, turbo also is it a 3.0 and whats done to the engine internally
Hello, the buttons inside are wired to the Emu Black ecu that runs the engine. The engine is bone stock apart from 12.9 headbolts and shims under the valve springs. And it is a 2.6.

Keep the filter metal in de argon zone. Dont pull it out it oxydize the tip of rhe filler wire contaminating the weld

@@driftinrust Cup size doesnt matter much at Carbon steel. when you touching Stainless or nikkel exotics gas coverage becomes critical. Thats more due the fact you want to protect the welding beat as long as possible with gas. Sorry for my english. Hit me up if you need more tips, I need some of you in the future (also building a 190e)😏😏

You inspire me! I am currently acquiring all the parts to turbo my m104 (2.8) c280 in Australia! I am only doing a low boost (7psi) setup for now :D
Thanks man! These low boost setups are usually the best of the best for street car and every day use! They just work! 😁👌
@@driftinrust I ended up going a piggy back AEM Fic/6 for ease of installation and have had great results with piggy back ecu's in the past. and more room for upgrades, larger injectors etc :) would the stock injectors handle 7psi?
@@BragmatBloke I personally don't like piggybacking. I prefer to be in full control of what the engine is doing and it also is cleaner, easier to work with if you do a standalone ecu, but each to their own really. The stock injectors will not be enough, you will need something like 500+cc .
I would go 860cc to be sure you have enough if something goes wrong. (Overboost)

Yeah, 225/45/17 at the front and 255/40/17 at the back, some fuel pumps and winter time will be time for shreds 😁

Hello, at what hp thresholds should the fuel pump be upgraded and which would you recommend
I'm going to test if they are enough for 650hp in a couple of weeks 😁 I'm running 2 stock pumps

Some generic one from eBay. I had to make my own inlets to be angled right. It 60x40x5cm core size

@@driftinrust turbo 2.6 with a current goal of 400-500. Currently not sure if i want to do turbo kit with around 8PSI on stock internals then EFI conversion OR EFI conversion then turbo and the adjust to a higher psi…. Any advice? It’ll be my first project btw
I would go directly EFI and then later upgrade if needed. The 2.6 can hold higher boost levels no problem. I'm running emu black with 6255 pulsar turbo and stock engine , just stronger bolts and washers under the springs. Hopefully 2.5 bars and 650 hp 😁👌

Thanks! It doesn't matter what the mechanical throttle body is as long as you can fit the tps on it. I use this one as I can replicate it on every customers car and it's brand new. I order one before the car comes and drop it to my local machine shop and he makes it fit as the stock one now! Saves lots of time 😁👌
