I made an FPV Drone cinematic GIMBAL!
มุมมอง 27K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I've always wanted to make my footage look different than the usual FPV, and I hope I did! This is my own design of a 1 axis gimbal for FPV Drones and GoPros in general. Whit FPV weight is a major concern, and this gimbal is only 80 grams! If you're interested in getting the parts printed or you want to have the whole Gimbal built send me a message on Instagram or TH-cam! INSTAGRAM: instagram.c...

This is epic thank you so much
can you gave more details
Saresti disposto a farlo? Cioè a far vedere i passaggi di fusion e nella macchina come procedere?
Dude if this is forreal, I don't think you fully understand the gravity of what you have done.... No pun intended. I wish you gave more details because I am duct-taping a dremel to my printhead as we speak....
@@youbewb5581 hahaha give it a go, it's a lot of fun! There are stls on thingiverse to attach a dremel to the original ender 3 hardware
Great idea to use the Ender 3 as CNC machine, the drone flight was awesome 🙂
Thank you so much :)
Hi, can you make a video explaining how did you control your ender3 for cutting CNC, thanks 🙏🏻
I used fusion360 to generate the gcode, make sure to make a profile that fits the ender3, the parameters in the cnc profile creator in fusion360 are pretty intuitive, unfortunately I do not remember what I did, it has been a few years
nice bro
Thanks :)
how to set gcode? Do you use a Creality slicer?
I used fusion 360 for the gcode
where did you buy the carbon fiber?
Aliexpress, there are many vendors
WOW Amazing 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️💓
Thank you!
I don't know why but I like the standard mount on the drone. I like the tilt and the realistic flying experience
Cool
Why endmill are you using? Do you have a link?
Hi, I was using a generic 2mm endmill for composites, you can get them on aliexpress. The cheapest ones will get you a couple of 3" whoop frames
Wow thats so cool!
Hai,,I want buy whole gimbal from you, for gph 9/10,,how much i must pay you,,I from indonesia
Hi, send me a message on Instagram
You have WA number,, I'm old school,, no instagram
best to have a vaccum on hand since the electronics are kinda close to the cutting area
yes that would have been handy, also carbon dust is conductive so it could have caused a short
@@haythamfpv it's also not healthy.... I've got a question tho... how many times have you milled carbon fiber and has it dulled your bit?
@@im_ricebowl yeah I was working outside for that reason. usually a 2mm bit dulls after 3/4 parts, I would say 3 hours tops at 300mm/min speed. that with the cheapest bits I found online
@@haythamfpv I see I see.... Im midway through a DIY mini cnc which is my second version and I kinda wanna do CF. Any idea what the Rpms on your spindle was?
@@im_ricebowl nope, but I made a proper one, I'm running 11k rpm at 300mm/min, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on the task. I'm using a 400w motor and usually 2mm bit
☺️ P r o m o s m!!!
do yoiu have any filter tuning recommandation for the FC or you let it stock?
I suggest you to use the same filter tuning of your quad, maybe even a little more aggressive since the fc does nothing more than that and logging
Bro do you have the link for thingiverse?
Yeah, they are all in the description
HaythamFPV-thanks. insane ,
Thanks a lot bro! The wait was worth it
Can it be charged through the micro USB port?
I guess so
awesome footage!! could I get camera holder stl??
Hi CU, what do you mean?
@@haythamfpvI mean the part that connects the camera and the case🙂
All the files are in the description under “files for the build”
@@haythamfpv That link doesn't have an STL file for T-shaped parts that connect to the camera under the "bottom case"🤔
@@cufpv9979 check now :)
pro tip: print the gimbal body in in flex material. The feet tend to break off.
Awesome video! Could you give a link to the buck converter?
Thanks! I got it out of a cheap 18650 powerbank, you can find them pretty much everywhere
Can you make one of these for me. I have a Runcam5 orange
Sure, send me a message on Facebook 👍🏻
This beats the dji fpv lol
Ci sono stato quest'estate a Zaro. Bellissimo posto e bellissima ripresa!!
che coincidenza, grazie!
can you put the mount used in the video in your thingiverse pls
set sdcard_mode = SPI set sdcard_dma = ON set blackbox_device = SDCARD set blackbox_mode = ALWAYS save I just saw that post from 2 weeks ago. That mean, I can do like 10 video clip(or more), and gyroflow will find them back? How could I "cut" then "rec" again, many times ?
I'm quoting my facebook comment: hi, the video is enough. If you have multiple shots with the same log you just need to manually check on the bbl viewer each shot's offset and input it into gyroflow. You only need a rough estimate of each one. You then will need to process each shot one by one using the same CSV and setting the initial offset for each shot, gyroflow will then fine tune it and export the clip. As I said, you have to do the process for each shot. let me know if you need more info :)
How can i record without arm?
set sdcard_mode = SPI set sdcard_dma = ON set blackbox_device = SDCARD set blackbox_mode = ALWAYS save
@@haythamfpv thanks!!
Cool dude, what's the build?
What do you mean?
@@haythamfpv motors and parts. Do you have a stl of your frame, looks interesting
@@qpmkro I used 1305s and a 3d printed polypropylene prop guard, like the Iflight protek (this was back in December). Now I have a v2 with 3mm carbon and the lightest guards I found on Banggood. It's the same weight but flies better and is more durable. I wouldn't suggest you to use this design
This is awesome. How hard is it to do and after can you 3d print or you just converted the 3d printer into a cnc machine?
for ista 360 go?
The insta 360go and go2 have a good enough stabilization that they don’t need this gimbal
This is exactly the video I was looking for, I want a single axis gimbal for a moto chest mount :-) Thanks very much!
Happy to help 😄
Hi bro, thanks for share..i have the same exact gimbal that you use and i want make it on my quad too..can you help me with 3d file .stl? Hope you read n can help me bro, thanks
Hi mate, what do you need?

Thank you!
Nice job man
Good work and well described. Thank you.
i needed it,,
Cool project, but I sure hope that is not the soldering iron you normally use D:
unfortunately I had to use this until a couple of weeks ago hahaha, but hey, there's no better training than a bad tip to get better at solering, once you master that, everything else is a joke hahahah
@@haythamfpv yea, I can imagine that tip that's rusted to shit only had one spot in which remotely gave heat ^^
But its not realy horizon mode
Place looks absolutely insane
thanks, yeah this island is crazy!
Really cool Idea!
good job buddy, i just subscribe your channel please take care mine ;) good luck
Thanks! you too
Thanks!! 🙌🏼
The main comparison we wanted was hypersmooth normal mount vs gimbal no hypersmooth but you almost alwats left hypersmooth on kinda defeats the purpose to use both at the same time but its a good idea for cameras without hypersmooth.
I was about to film gimbal with no Hypersmooth but I had a problem with some wet grass.. Hypersmooth does not defeat the purpose at all, it crops 10% at most and does not do horizon level. There's the hero 6 with no reelsteady and with Gimbal, it should get you covered😉
