Excellent video, must have been such a treat to see. We have Astacopsis franklinii where I live, only seen them twice. They're probably one of my favourite animals now. I think the face sucking aliens from the alien movies were heavily influenced by them, or maybe horseshoe crabs...

A good way to cook and eat smallish Redfin. All you have to do is gut them, take the head off, but DON'T scale them, and put them over heat until they are lightly cooked through. When placed on the plate. All you do is peel the skin back with your folk and it will peel better than an Orange. You then run your fork downwards lightly from the backbone and you will get some of the SWEETEST flakiest fish you will ever want to eat. My mouth is drooling just writing this.😉😉
