This song was able to encapsulate everything i have been feeling recently. The longing, the hope, the pain...all at the same time. I really am reminded as a creative that it's not about if i'm good enough, its really about being alive to be able to listen and appreciate art like this.

Playing the TRUMPet, I can see why you're so conflicted 😉 Joking aside, this was beautiful! Thank you. I'm not at all Trump supporter, but I am a bit bewildered by the reaction from so many people, both in the states and Europe. If I had lived in the states, I'd be more worried if Trump had lost, knowing the capacity for violence among his hardcore supporters. Living in Europe, I'd be more worried if the Democrats had won, as they are the worst at starting and provoking wars and making the world a more dangerous place. Yes, Trump is an unpredictable misogynist/populist/narcissist/capitalist/etc. But in foreign affairs, at least he prefers dialog and doing business over provocation and bloody wars, economic warfare over physical warfare. That much I'm glad for. Between pest and cholera, we got cholera. At least we didn't get pest. If anything, it's _that very predicament_ that should make people disillusioned or mad, not the fact that Trump won. At least it's not a civil war. At least the chance of a world war breaking out will be a little bit lower for the next four years. As a citizen of the world, I'm actually (paradoxically) glad that he won. And I consider myself somewhere on the left. That says a lot about the (so called) Democratic party and the predicament of the American people. I really feel for you.
