Get the UK Children's box set. You want to immerse yourself in the british culture and language from where this beauty originates out of. It's the most pure form. Coming from a 33 year old HP OG growing up with the books and movies at the exact same age as the characters in the movies.

​@CobraXXVI Hot take, the US editions are the best versions of the books. Yes, some of the British slang and terms are changed but the US editions all have special font and text for letters, newspapers, signatures, signs etc that immerse you better in the story. Plus illustrations for each chapter. In Prisoners of Azkaban, Hagrids tears are on the letter he sends about Buckbeak with his scribbled signature while the UK versions just have plain text. It's no contest for me. There's a reason every single US release has kept the original font and formatting, it was perfect
