2006 GMC k2500 had codes p2120, p1125 and p2138. Solved by resetting the connectors on the tac module located on the drivers side firewall area.

First gen #Bronco disc brake swap Part 2
You think this one’s bad buddy I’m doing a water pump on a 3.5 in an explorer!!!!! the swears that have come out of me make you look like mother Teresa buddy lol I’m ready to drive to Detroit and find the engineer that designed this shit and put my boot to his back side
lame
Any luck on those part numbers? I am interested as well. Thank you!
Part numbers are posted in the description box also posted a link in case you want to double-check those part numbers
I got a 96 too
You need Jesus!
👍
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks for the info............................................
Multi power tractors need to be split, no multi power pump just lifts out of the top
So I have a 2009 JD 2305 with 851 hours on it. According to my service guy they were able to grease these U joints for me. But I’m skeptical because he had a new guy working for him and I’m not certain he did the job himself. My plan is to take this thing apart and inspect things and see if I can get grease to go directly in those joints. If not, then I might be attempting to replace the U-joints. Not my wheelhouse but way easier than a new transmission, I suspect. We’ll see. My question for you is should I just cut my losses and trade for a different make or model? What would you recommend? BYW, I try not to swear much myself but I don’t care at all that you do. It adds appropriate emphasis to your points about poor designs.
Well whether or not you want to trade it in on another model is going to be your choice you're going to have to weigh the pros and cons if your unit is already paid for even if you have to do this maintenance it's a really not that bad cheaper than the new tractor payment I'm sure
Glad to see your video. You disappeared from my feed for months.
Thanks I kind of fell into a deep dark hole there for a little while didn't feel like making any videos plus it was winter time and I wasn't working on much
@@Tomcat71 No problem friend. I've been through those places my own self.
Nope just stop. Tap a new hole.
I would if I had some drill bits and a tap I'm in a situation where I do not have my tools like that plus this balancer is from 1973 so it's time for it to be changed
I have a 1965 MF 180 that looks very similar.. I was under the impression that I had to split the tractor to get pump out. My question is can I remove the pump on the Model 180 without splitting the tractor.
I've never had a 180 so I have no idea what it would take to get the pump out but you more than likely are going to have to split the tractor
God damn Rockford! Thats a beautiful truck. Had the dee luxe boom booms in it too. Rather deal with interior and paint work than fuckin rust repair myself.
My x754 did same thing expensive fix.. but my ujoint was greasable..
Did you remove the ABS module when taking it out. I’m about to do this on my 97 and I don’t see how it’s possible without removing it. I don’t wanna remove it because I don’t want to bring it to the shop to have them bleed it Could you also link the raw version you said you had on your other channel? I can’t find it.
I didn't remove it but it is in the way ever so slightly but I managed to work around it but if you're not careful it would be easy to tear it up
What about undoing the rear mount
If I remember I came in through the front driver side wheel well by the rack with long extensions
Ok thanks
Could you add the part numbers for those of us that have the same issue. Shaft, seal, gasket. TKS
I'll have to dig around but I'll try to find the numbers for you and add them in the next week or so
I have a gas mf 50 and have enjoyed using it till the mice got into the clutch housing , through the steering column I guess, and pissed the clutch tight. I love the looks of the 100 series mf. Bucket list is to get 135,150 & 165. Great size tractors for the home hobbyist / small acreage land owner.
I have a 97 and both sides have those cracks near the windows same as yours... they drive me nuts as I'm in Salt territory
Yeah those cracks are pretty common thing on these trucks almost every one I've ever looked at has them
If you’re going to cuss I won’t watch.
It's not an airport. there's no need to announce your departure.
For some reason the housing came up enough to let to little piston and springs fall out ....now what??
Did they all fall out and get mixed up or just one or two of them come out?
They all fell out I believe I was able to keep them in order but don't know which cylinder they go in
@albertfilla7517 I'm afraid that I don't have a simple answer for you bud if they all fell out of both there's no way to really tell I don't think which one it would go in you could take one and try to fit it in but I think they're probably both the same size
Thanks for your help I'll put a mic on them and hope for the best
Same dent and all
So you're saying you have my old car? Where are you located?
That’s the exact car I have now. Would love if I could get you to do some work on it. You def know what you are doing.
I'm afraid I don't do much work for other people anymore
If you want to get really pissed, change the water pump on a 5.7l hemi lol
Missed you live, but I got this playing while fixing a kerosene heater and the customer here bullshitting with me said to tell you right on broher!
Well Said Brother! Pisses me off that I didn’t catch you live! Keep Speaking the Truth!
Ford or you can kiss the baby
I hope for is watching this maybe they will wake up and know what to do fix the f****** problem and do it right that's my opinion Ford because I will never buy another
Dude, they already have showed up in mine. Our asshole mayor took funding from our jobs and downsized us.
I say allow illegals to work but crack down on employers/government to tax them heavily. We will see how they like coming here if there wages are at slavery levels. The millennials and gen z workforce will not provide adequate levels of skill in the future anyway.
I've heard a little about the recent supreme court decision, but haven't had time to dig into it. Glad I got your take on it first. You always shoot from the hip and keep it real.
I own a 2305. Excactly the same thing happened recently. I grease everything regularly but thought this U-joint didn't need to, since there was no way of getting to it. $ 4500 in repairs later, I learned my lesson. Definitly a faulty design.
I have a 2305 and I grease the U-Joints, and "yes" it is a pain in the butt job. I use a special needle grease tip to reach in.
How's the progress on the swap? Did you have any issues with putting the 77 on the frame was there in fabrications?
No the frames were almost a non-issue I wind up selling the car when I moved down to Texas
Like you said, one bite at a time. Good update.👍🏾
Good start to the new year brother!
Same to you!
I had a 88 2500 that would not start. I thought I knew a good mechanic. I paid him 200$ and he couldn't tell me nothing. I scrapped it, next day my truck running like a scalded dog. Dammit
Spray wd40
Nice 🇺🇲
Thanks! 😃
31.5 mpg on the way down to the beach 4 1/2 hour trip .
Good catch. I don't like to throw parts at a situation either. It's a lazy (and $$$) way to attempt a repair.
You can replace just that shaft
That's what I did I tore the box apart replaced the input shaft And then replace the drive shaft and put it all back together
I had one of those. 2.0 zetec and 5 speed. Thing was an animal in the snow. Motor run good, trans shifted good. The seating position surprised me, its almost like sitting on a chair instead of on the floor. To me, the focus was like the neon....very hit or miss. I know some people who had nothing but trouble with em, and others who run the wheels off em with very little troubles
Ford spent a grip of money on the interior and seating position.
The focus is that had the split port injection motor had a bad habit of dropping the valve seat out of the head, causing catastrophic damage to the engine
What would a Torque tube go for ??
You mean what would we sell the one that's in the car for or what you would ask for one?
Tks for getting back to me !! I currently have one and I was wondering what would be a fair price to ask for one. Tks again, Ed/A
It takes that many fuggin bolts because everything is aluminum.
I believe that is the correct horizontal exhaust setup, yours looks identical to mine
It is. I got to doing some research, and it was correct. I think this tractor had a loader on it new.
How are you? Who of you needs a tractor diesel mechanic?
TO MUCH NEGATIVE ATTITUDE! I would not recommend using this guy for any job!
I found this job to be easier than the 5L by far. I would have appreciated seeing you showing the disassembly and reassembly. Most of the video is you complaining about doing a simple spark plug change, and then not doing it. I hope the rest of the job went well.
Well I don't have a GoPro and nobody's donating to patreon so there's probably not going to be one in the future be lucky there's videos at all
Don't need it, but I'd like to have that car. That has a torque tube driveline in it. If you all decide to put an SBC in it you'll have to swap out the rearend. Early Nova/1st gen F body axles swap in pretty easy.
Yeah I looked under it the other day and seen it had a torque tube Driveline
The 235 that's in that car will have hydraulic lifters. All the powerglide equipped engines had hydraulic lifters.
