I enjoyed this video, and I agree this game is darker than it appears, but I must say, the part with the hookers seems extremely far-fetched.
This was my first Lego game. Granted I couldn't get past level 1 for a long time, but I started to like it once I played it more. I did think about the game's unsettling aura, but I've only started to properly realise it.

Probably the reason this is the darkest Lego game is because it's the only one that focuses entirely on BATMAN, its two sequels have a more general superhero vibe. This is the only game that captures the Dark, Gothic, Grim and Decadent essence of Gotham City and its characters.

Some constructive critisism of the video: 1. When you talk about something like unused levels, you should show us footage of it. Or the ios/mobile version of the game and then you show footage of it. Makes the video more intresting to watch. 2. Only show footage of the videos subject, not other content unless its directly related to it. In this video the subject is Lego Batman The Videogame. At 11:55 you start to show footage of Lego Batman 2 even tho the thing you are talking about is related to Lego Batman The Videogame, and not to Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes.

Playing as the villains in the second campaign has added to the unique feeling this game gave me when i was younger. They have Lego DC Supervillains however the tone shift from playing as Batman and Robin, then being one of the bad guys hit differently

What's worse is that villains like Professor Milo, Maxie Zeus and Joe Chill are excluded from both versions of the game, completely absent basically.
Yea true, don't think they ended up in any of the sequels either, which is pretty crazy considering Joe chill's importance especially.
