The .45 update was HUGE adding the city of Novo. The clock tower fights were unmatched!! Another big update that stood out to me was .57 when they redesigned Berezino. That town alone was THE PVP hotspot around those days with Elektro. Seeing the whole player base flock to one city was incredible.

Tbf the GPS would be a fine addition if they didnt mark everything for you right off the bat. A map is a goated thing to have. Everything marked in the beginning is definitely not.

Dean Hall's original mod must have earned Bohemia Interactive so much money in sales of Arma 2. A bunch of my mates, and myself only bought Arma so we could play the mod. And I bet there were thousands who did the same. I still have my unofficial "Anyone in Cherno?" T shirt thats about 12 years old. I even recognised the clip you showed of Frankie's first video! We used the bicycles in the Arma 2 mod all the time. Quicker than walking and so quiet compared to the vehicles. Loved the video, a like and a sub earned!

I used to watch dayz mod videos when i was 8, and game was officially launched on my 14th birthday. I'm nearly 20 now, game is totally different compared to early access but still not enogh. I think I'll be able to play complated version when i become a father.

Do you know what really changed? Players. Before, They didn't want pvp so much and just wanted to survive. In some situations they even used rp. And after? Game is just PVP game, Everyone is killing each other and raiding bases, the game has just turned into another game Rust

Oh man yeah they need bicycles back or even mountain bikes. My biggest wish for a while now is better infected. I think it’d be pretty cool if you had to board up doors and window to keep infected out.

DayZ and arms brought me into PC gaming from console. I played so many hours into DayZ. By far the best experience I have had in gaming.
