Is that the three volume series that looks similar to the lore books ? If yes it was only published in JP a few years ago and haven’t seen any one go through it

@elisaswann yup those are the ones and they released the EW as well. I rather not go through the JP sites as I'm limited with it but looks like ill have to search for it that way.

I kind of realize it's just an upgraded book like their other recap books but would have loved it for sure if they at least added a roll. But without that translation I wonder if they just kind of didn't think of it like their other publications (like their artbooks). I definitely wish this was translated as well on top of it!

The code is printed on the spine insert (physical cd). Disc arrived from CdJapan on date of release in japan .

I wonder as there's a lot of publications that only appears in JP only unless they announce an English edition. I do think it would be nice to have the timelines though in English and if we start asking , if they'll consider.

it’s a physical music box you can order from square enix . while there are orchestrion rolls for EW music those are tied to the sale of the cds or blu-ray’s

It's weird but I think a lot of people tweeted but didint' memorialize stuff on youtube. I'm glad it's helpful and if you hvae questions let me know. I plan to be there this year too and will try to think about more video to helpful future attendees grasp what it's like :)

Me either - the issue is the events are things to do in between panels and such, but there's a lot of potential for long lines with 3x size of last fanfest. That said, the games and challenges were fun. I hope they continue to offer "side quests" even if they change in order to be more crowd friendly.

I will hope that there will be tickets for general sale and that next cycle is bigger !

Lol it's a really old Logitech C920. It's just not recording at the ratios I like and tends to have a lot of problems with contrast. It requires a lot of weird lighting so not my favorite and am researching if going up to a slightly better one might help! And I'm really glad that this proved to be "editable" as I was spending al ot of time making handmade ones too as is. While these are too expensive to get too many of, I feel relieved we can make these into more colorful versions. If/when you come back and are ready and need help, please let me know!

I think you can still preorder as it's not due to release in the NA and EU zones for a few months! If no, it's available via proxy I believe. LMK if you need help locating it.

Yeah it's still great but I love it slightly slower for that reason. It's really very chill sitting in Amaurot and hanging out :)

I felt like the story establishes a pattern of neglect and isolation that unfortunately resulted in Zenos going in the direction he did. I found it really weird when Zenos betrayed his father, that his father thought this was all about ambition. When it clearly was not. Zenos (in his odd way) was trying to help your WoL. The methods by which he did, sigh... but from a perspective, it was understandable. This story set the groundwork for explaining (alongside some other side story and game content) just how important your WoL was to Zenos. The only time he felt alive was in battle with our WoL. May he find a better family in his next life :(

@@elisaswann yea. Plus in a way, to Zenos we were also a friend. If you notice he doesn't talk down to us, he talks TO us even when sardonic he is nothing but Genuine. With us he can face us not as. Garlien, or as a Prince but Zenos. We are literally his first friend and as someone with an unbalanced mental state he tries to "be a friend" to us as well.

@@Khontis exactly his friend and equal. Fighting is his "dialogue" and it took Alisaie yelling at him to reflect what being a comrade was about and how to appeal to us to eventually fight him at end of EW. We acknowledged him in that fight. :)

I think the fact that he came to peace with Yotsuyu is amplified in here is amazing too . I will say the role quests are good but some I enjoyed more for the lore than the actual characters. The doman stuff is addressed in ranged dps and worth it . My favorite is the melee dps though because it was good lord and just subtler than some of the others

@@elisaswann yess melee is actually the only one i did so far because the first jobs i leveled were dragoon and reaper :D next will probably be caster, but i do have mch at 80 so... Soon

That's a valid point - he was incredibly motivated when he was interested in something. And I think EW shows us that we were that "something" later... Unfortunately they decided to take the turn they did to use him as a parallel analogy. But nothing is said and done in the world of serialized storytelling; perhaps we will still see that epic from him someday ... should the writing team see fit.

Hi - there are three other stories and someone did ask for one of them . So considering that one next :). As for the ebook stuff - I’m not sure why they adapted some Square products (like the Nier books ) as ebooks but not ffxiv. My guess is they probably would do a reprint instead to make higher sales . People should keep asking for this book to be brought back !

FYA - in the solicitation for the reprint coming this fall, they also showed an electronic version too!

^^ I thought it important to come back to this (I've been talking about it a lot here and there as the book is a favorite of mine). I hope SE will just reprint the dang book so let's all keep asking for it!

You're quite welcome! While I did post about it on twitter, my twitter reach is poop xD. I actually posted about this there as well some time ago when trying to tell new fans about this print book edition and have quietly shared the text with some folks very interested in lore. That said, as it seems like it would not be ok to post that for public consumption, decided to narrate this as a stop gap until we can get a reprint in the US! JP editions btw, still are available to anyone who wants to hunt this down. :)
