Got stuck for a good while with a game-breaking bug, but did manage to get back into the well and even see the Chicken Lady.

Still dying a lot, but finally got myself a shovel. Today, I learned that barricades are not savage-proof and that if I leave a bear trap set outside my door, do not go running out that door the next morning.
