Gogobebe was on Killing Voice. I agree with below to watch the rock version. They have an album called Mamamoo:The best where they've put up more dramatic or concert versions of their songs. Gogobebe rock version and Egoistic burning sun version are my favorites. 😍 A sidenote. The volume of your videos is too low compared to your voice audio.

OH, you need to hear and see the ROCK version of Gogobebe! They sang it at the M2 X GENIE MUSIC AWARDS (The MGMA's), and it was a Great performance, but being an Awards Show, they went full out compared to other groups, But not Mamamoo "Full Out". When you compare it to their concert performances of it, well the concert performances are soooo much better LOL! Because they get to really enjoy themselves. He has produced most, if not all of her solo work, including her "Maria" album. He's amazing. It's called "Star". It's a ballad, PWS wrote it (with Hwa Sa in mind, and it's absolutely stunning! Hwa Sa's voice will melt you, the production, and music is top tier, so they match perfectly with Hwa Sa's vocals. They may be #1 in our hearts but Gogobebe topped out at #5 on the main weekly k-chart, tho it did reach #2 on Billboard's Korean and World singles charts. For a good time watch the rock version they performed live with labelmates Onewe as the band. I can see why you'd think the Winter/White song in the 4S4C project would be a ballad - tis the season for sentimental, melancholy songs after all. But when they introduced White in Paint Me it symbolized the innocence of youth before sexual awakening and they chose to emphasize the fun, youthful qualities of innocence like playfulness, mischievousness, and openness to new people and experiences. Gogobebe came out in early March 2019 and I think they were trying to capture the spirit of the transition to a new spring season at the end of the winter of emotional hibernation they experienced following the heartbreak in Wind Flower. I think the solo scenes at the beginning where they're each isolated and stuck in a different rut are hilarious. The invitation to a house party breaks the emotional ice, so to speak, and triggers them to emerge from the white blanket of emotional snow like daffodils coming up as a harbinger of spring, which might be exactly the image they were going for when Moonbyul busts up through the ceiling of her stifling office. And of course they're always looking for fun ways to flip the script and turn things upside down. Here are the keys to crack the code: The alternate title of Gogobebe is 9966 (g = 9 and b = 6) so Byul's line can also be written "9 / 6, 6 19, 9 / 6, 9966." I'm sure you noticed the kids flipping the address from 66 to 99 and also note that 9 / 6, 6 19 is a palindrome with the slash becoming a 1 when reversed (or flipped). 9 to 6 is the standard Korean work day. 6 19 is Mamamoo's debut date (June 19). Gogobebe is just a fun way of spelling Go, Go, Baby, which means Let's Party! in the context of the song. So the literal translation of the number sequence is "Work, Debut, Work, Party!" which is shorthand for "We've been working nonstop ever since we debuted and it's time to Par- tay!!" The palindrome has an extra level of cleverness cuz, like the cyclical seasons and emotional stages of the 4 Seasons project, the activities in the palindrome cycle endlessly: they work hard as trainees, debut with Mr Ambiguous, work hard to promote it, come back with Piano Man, work hard to promote it, etc, etc.

This performance is so beautiful and special! 💜 Armys felt a mix of excitement and sadness bc it was his first time performing The Astronaut, he was in a Coldplay Concert and his first time In Argentina but it was also Jin's last time on stage. We knew we wouldn't see him again for a 1 year and 6 months later or more + the fear of the future as he was the first BTS member going to the military... very emotional 😭😭

This song is one of the reasons why Solar is my favorite singer in the world. There is a live performance that is really good, you should watch it, she sounds perfect in that video. Solar can make you feel any emotion. Her Solar Gamsung project causes most people to at least get on the verge of crying, Her OST Exit for the show Escape of the Seven, she will make you feel anger, despair, she is so good with making you feel emotion it is almost a superpower. This is one of my favorite songs.

My Universe is a beautiful song and it reached Number 1 in Billboard Hot 100. The second time for Coldplay topping that chart at that moment and 6th time for BTS. That Coldplay album was nominated for a Grammy so BTS was nominated for this collab. This performance was the only one he did when the song was released right before the enlistment. He went to Argentina for this concert

And Jin's album will be out on Friday! Running wild, which is the main track will be released at the same time. Thank u for appreciating, Jin! He is so loving! ❤

I love 'Hello' too. Like you said, it feels melancholy, but doesn't take it into a negative space, which is something she does exceptionally well. Her music, even when she tackles sad emotions lyrically or melodically, feels uplifting. I wouldn't really compare their solo songs to their group songs simply because I feel the alchemy of their group is fundamentally different, so personally I wouldn't compare this to 'Wind Flower', but I can understand what you love about this song. If you enjoy the way she expressed emotion in this song, you may enjoy her Solar Gamsung series. It is a project where she reinterprets classic/legendary songs in her own style. There are 8 parts, the most recent was just released. I would also look at her OSTs because she often taps into her ability to emote for those songs as well. However, if you have limited time, and want to get to know her musically, I would focus on her mini-album COLOURS. It is the most concise way to experience the versatility of her voice. Even if it isn't comprehensive in including everything she can do, it is a great primer

Nice. Hello is also my favorite solo song from the 4 Seasons project and it's from my favorite MMM EP, Blue;S. Had a new idea about my longtime off the wall theory about Hello. I've always interpreted the song as Solar imagining what it would be like to greet North Koreans after reunification but I never understood the line "Monday night at 2:30." While watching the lyric video with you I suddenly thought that perhaps the song originated in a dream that was so vivid it woke her up at that time. The obvious way to read the lyrics is that it's about a relationship with a long lost friend or lover but imo some of the lines don't really fit with that interpretation. I think my theory accounts for things like the fragmented memories and explains why "I pray for us." If you watch the lyric video again see whether you think I might be right. Solar has never explained Hello or almost any MMM song or MV for that matter. She tends to give only the most basic and obvious info when asked about MMM or solo songs. I think they prefer to leave it up to us to interpret their songs for ourselves. When I shared my theory another moomoo suggested that maybe Hello doesn't have an MV because the subject of reunification was too much of a political hot potato and RBW didn't want to risk making it explicit. Solar and her pole dance teacher choreographed a partner pole dance for Hello and moomoos consider the video as a substitute for an MV. It's a gorgeous performance that can only be described as poetry in motion. The video is a bit hard to find on Solar's yt channel so here's a link: th-cam.com/video/Ypevh3p0cs4/w-d-xo.html The must-see live performance of Hello is from Solar's solo set during Mamamoo's 4 Seasons F/W concert tour in 2019. She started her solo set with a cover of Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On and had the brass balls to follow it with her own self-composed song. Hello more than held its own. Yes, moomoos scream and sing along but that only adds fuel to her performance. Solar's voice is magical. I do recomend you watch the performance from the F/W 4 seasons concert. It's even more powerful live. The version with her and her teacher pole dancing on her youtube channel solarsido is also amazing.
