Persistent Jet Hammer Armor Glitch
If you use Jet Hammer and then get pushed off the ground or ledge, you retain the armor all the way through the move animation! This is reminicent of a similar glitch with Donkey Kong where he keeps his armor if he gets pushed off a ledge while using grounded upspecial.

How to deal with Steve's 3 block setup

Just two ways to deal with Steve's two block setup. Note: The uspecial can only armor through upsmash if started from the ground or below stage level because he loses the armor close to the ground.
Hydrant Boosting (CRAZY TECH)

If you do a turnaround from a dash inside an anvil or a hydrant, then cancel it with a jump or and attack like down tilt, you can get launched out at high speed, allowing Dedede to briefly travel faster than any character in the game. You can do goofy things like wavedash across the entirety of Final Destination, or inhale people on the other side of the stage.
Parry into Dash Attack

Upsmash out of shield not doing it for you? Try parry into dash attack, a high risk, high reward punish that works on a surprising number of moves. anything that's -25 or worse will work. Inhale ledge scoop tech

You can scoop some characters right from the ledge with the startup of inhale. This works because the start of inhale is placed slightly lower than the rest of the move.
Item Re-spit Tech

By respiting certain items you can give them different properties. the most beneficial are Rob and Pac-man's items. Some allow you to hit ledge hangs easier, some get slightly more range, and some gain an almost INFINITE range.

this works from around 0-15% before the dtilt stops connecting at the end. Im planning on making an entire item showcase for dedede, but that's a little ways away.
The Bombstick

Because links bomb always has a hitbox when moving, we can use this to our advantage by using it to hit an already tossed Gordo. there are alot of things you can do with this, and I'm only scratching the surface, but here are two good stick setups using the bomb.

Here’s a lesser known tech I learned from a friend in DededeCord a while back, it’s an easy way to wavebounce inhale from the ground. This can lead to some sneaky gordo spit movement, as well as being decent at baiting options from opponents.

Its called super armor.

It's not supposed to have super armor in the air but since the move was released on the ground I think it kept the super armor
Im aware. The glitch is how jet hammer usually only has armor for 14 frames, and only on the ground. But if Dedede gets pushed into the air somehow during the swing, he not only retains the armor but keeps it for the entire animation, which is around 60 frames.
I was using dtilt as dash attacks honestly, probably now is his Best move

Does the invincibility end after the animation is over or when dedede hits the ground?

@@landslideddd5944then it's very likely intended by the devs (similar to the double jump armor that yoshi had in melee)
I absolutely love all of Dedede's tilt attacks (I have it set to C-Stick tilts) and his Dtilt is fantastic. Short hop Fair to Dtilt combos really easily at low percentages. When I first set it to C-Stick tilts I realized how awesome Dedede was. Easily my favorite character in the game. Thank you for making these videos man! Your parry-to-dash-attacks and parry-to-dtilts are incredible.

Man, it's unbelievably satisfying to jet hammer through someone's getup attack. You have to time it early and basically predict when they'll getup attack, but if you do, it looks godly. I love Dedede so much man.

Killing with Dedede's dash attack is unbelievably, absurdly satisfying man.
What game is this
This is a dumb question, but what did you press to make that Gordo go so high in the beginning? For some reason when I press up-stick it seems like the Gordo doesn't bounce as high as in this clip. In this clip, the Gordo height is awesome (I know you can simply jump to bounce the Gordo higher though.)
Its a shame link, peach/daisy, and rob cant take advantage of tech involving their items

It's really funny how learning tech with dedede changes it fundamentally on every single level, more than I have seen on any other character, Dedede is so special on many levels. The fact that you can go from a slow character heavily reliant on reads to having a +5 on shield is hilarious at the very least. It gets to a point where I've become infamous in my own locals because the top tier abusers there always look down on low tiers and then I pull garbage like this and they always get so angry, I love this fella.

Yeah, this is just a niche option to throw off opponents. If you want high risk high reward you can dash attack, and for high safety you down tilt.

Nah, they don’t get much of a boost. The only other ones worth mentioning is links bomb going farther and faster, and mecha koopa having a weird trajectory.

Nah, it only works with big Link’s bomb. You can get some similar effects with the explosion of throwable items like snakes grenade though.

Bro this is super nice gonna try that out. Cancel dash attack, than nair and if wanted immediate airdodge allows you to regrab gordo but not gettint hit, sounds really good
