Hello Hello!!!
Welcome to Wrench Wench Racing on TH-cam. Here on this brand new channel I will be taking some baby steps into the world of SimRacing with lots of gaming, talking shop, cars, and anything with an engine.
I mostly play Gran Turismo, but I will drive anything you throw at me! If it drives we thrives! (I may also dabble in ACC and AMS2 as well.)
Right now I am just starting out with online racing. Before this I had literally never raced online ever in my life. I have only played single player racing games and have bought some kit to document my journey from ZERO to HERO-(ine)... so this should be interesting and I would love for you to join me!

From England, now American and a car and bike enthusiast. A former courier rider in the UK now I live in the USA and decided to try SimRacing right here on TH-cam. I sometimes look upset, and I have a weird mixed accent but I promise I am actually really friendly, come say hello, you wont regret it :)

Turns out my ps+ ran out on my main(suspended for making fun of my own driving in game chat) account, and if you buy it on your second account it doesn't get shared to your main, like it does in the reverse...won't be able to make it to the 1000HP race...or play GT7 and most of my other games...for a month.🙃🙃🙃

On Race A, go with the "rental" car. It performs WAY better than the one you purchase.
Interesting...Do you happen to know why?
@ I did a little searching but didn't come up with anything concrete. There were some cases where the livery made a difference (I had purchased the car to add a livery). I returned to the original livery, but that made no difference, and if I remember your race you also had the original. You can get that car around the track, but I found it much slower. I've also been in races where purchased cars won, so maybe it's just my driving skill. Anyway, I just wanted to let you weren't alone. With the rented car it's a fun race; similar to the one with the Rascals.

G'day Wench, I watched the second part of the stream on replay. Re what you asked about how to get ahead of the carnage/bad drivers: Pick the race (B or C) you're going to enjoy and stick to it all week. Pick a car from the top 300 times you like driving and stick to that all week. Race a lot to learn the driver names and how they race. A good tactic for C this week is to hang back a bit and pit on lap 3 to 5, still change tyres and you'll get a good undercut. There'll be good and bad weeks, just stick at it and enjoy the game. Don't stress about DR and SR, your DR will go up for sure.
I wish there were 2x A,B,C panels of races... two variants of each so we have more to choose from on somewhat harder weeks.. good luck on your journey.
Yea, you are right, its not very beginner friendly this week. Definitely doing lobbies on Sunday for sure.

You haven't earned 1000, no disrespect but do you feel you've earned it because you're a good driver while others streaming get nothing and you all of 2 months hots 1000, it is because you're female
