Patriot Disposal 506 | Mack TE McNeilus Atlantic
Sal doing front when he was filling in for it. This truck is a 2020 and it’s pretty beat up for its age. They only get TE Atlantics now. I like them and the newer ones look nice with the tailgate props and being new they are really clean and shiny. They have one LR Half/Pack that does commercial that I would like to film sometime.

One of Republic’s 5 LR Commanders. I’ve heard these trucks don’t perform well and they may have been discontinued. In my opinion they look cool and i like the way they move. @@truckmaster31 Anyhing you can, it’s really easy to find stuff in Arlington. I can tell you where some stuff in Fairfax county is and you can decide if would be able to film it. I would like to see some of the CNG Mack RLs in Fairfax county or Prince William and ACX Labries.

Surprised to see republic buying these , personally id much rather have a curotto. Seems like the rear load portion doesn’t get used much at all either. Looks like there was a hot load on this one at some point! Really enjoyed watching him grip and dump a couple hand cans! Sharp looking truck nonetheless!
@@rws676 They used to be for recycling but were taken off since the claws had too much pressure and couldn’t effectively dump cans full of cardboard. If they gave out yard waste cans these trucks would be great but they work good enough. One does townhome trash on Tuesdays with a helper and I’m going to film it soon.

I'll tell you what, these guys are just flying! Throwing tubs around at the crack of dawn is just insane! But huge props for getting the job done so fast! This truck actually has the same hydraulic pump as my new greens truck, (2018 Autocar ACX/DP5000), so that's another reason why I love this one! Sounds so similar to my yard waste truck! If you could film this one again, I'd love that!

That's cool they got some of these on LRs! Did the driver have an opinion on the truck? We had one for 5 months until the driver gave it up. It kept having too many problems, he said the halo mode got out of wack once and whenever the camera would detect a can the arm would reach out and pick it up before he engaged the mode itself. The arm also kept losing pressure and then the PTO blew up on it which was the last straw for him. Its crazy how the arm is leaning and for this to be a new truck speaks miles. I can't imagine what it is like when these trucks start to age. Great video thouhgh!
