Thank you for the validation! "I/O psychologists write and develop the tools that HR uses, and then evaluates their effectiveness" etc. That's great to hear because i find that until i have that title in my hand and actually work doing just that, people seem to not take me seriously. They dont realize that this field researches what the supervisors think they know, and what they learn comes from scientists such as ourselves. So the next time i try to explain to my manager why he cant reinforce bad behavior while shifting the workload to hard workers, they ought to show more respect! Thanks for the video..cant wait to get into statistics. I really want to get into scientific research.
A very helpful video, i am an 11th grader from India and needed a detailed video on the topic. Tomorrow's my statistics periodic test
Help
🏀
This was really helpful. Thank you and God bless. ❤
Thank you so much for uploading this. ❤
what if I want to represent the two columns in the graph in two different colours?
Great tutorial! Simple and easy to follow!
Brilliant- thank you!
Thanks for share your knowledge
This video just saved me. Thank you
Thank you, you give very good commentary and I have learnt a lot of from your videos!
Great.
Thanks ❤
Thank you very much from Peru. ♥
amazing video! clear and in depth explanation! it helped me a lot!! thankyou :)))
Amazing video! Helped us a lot in our school work
Excellent!
"Promosm" 💃
I'd like to suggest using short quizzes/questions throughout your video. You explain things very nicely but after a bit I found myself struggling to remember what was just talked about while processing new information.
I do that in class, but never thought to do it in video lectures. Thanks.
Thank you for your lectures
thank you so much for making such a wonderful explanation! It's been four years yet it is still super helpful even today! May god bless those who make such great videos as yours!
I didn't get the idea of standard error 😕.. can you please explain?
So best performance is honey whole wheat at 19 % right?
Aren't we lucky to have a smart person like Wendi to help us figure out this vast field of research and statistics and get us as close to figuring out the truth on a subject as possible
Thank you Wendi : )
Your are the person born to teach. Wow what a point of view from others perspective ... this is the quality which always the best teacher should possess ... Love you mam alot ...
Can I get your email?
Thank you, Dr. Benson. I feel like I'm getting educated in the US.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video, I was so helpful. Do you by any chance have any more similar to this? Amazing, really insightful.
May I know, if I have 4 data group, how do I make the T test?
You would need ANOVA first.
@@DrWendiLBenson okay, thank you👍🏻
Very helpful!
I fell in love with biostatistics this semester with Dr. Oates ! I'm thrilled you're posting up new content.
thank you so much dear for explaining it so beautifully!!😊💕
Very helpful thank you ❤
I appreciate the time you spend creating these videos. They are so helpful the only thing I wished is that I had found your channel sooner.
Wendi, can I use this video in one of my leadership courses for my students to learn from?
thank you for these lectures!
Wonderful
Suggest three approaches to employee job design in a way that they feel more satisfied, motivated and responsible in their daily tasks.
thank you this has really helped me with my Psychology report
what text book do you use for industrial organizational psychology?
I'm taking a degree in Organizational Psychology (Mexico), and we rely heavily on Peer-reviewed Articles by graduates that have done research into many different topics: we get trained on history of psychology, psychopathology, educational psychology, clinical, Epistemology, Information Management (for writing thesis and articles using APA, using tools like Mendeley Citation Manager), organizational sociology, Basics of intervention, Project Management, Seminars for investigation, Seminars for Thesis writing, etc etc. The list is pretty extensive on items to cover to prepare you for your work as an organizational psychologist, and we have at least 3-5 articles per class that range from 12-100+ pages, and they give us books like Scientific Method, DSM manuals, Project Managing, etc. If I can recommend the following, we do not use anything that is not published by an academic platform with strict guidelines and policies. A few good sources are EbscoHost, Redalyc, Elsevere, and SciELO. Those are scientific databases where we read tons of articles every week (the Mexican university education requires heavy reading and writing with weekly essay submissions to demonstrate your comprehension and hone your research and writing abilities so you can engage in research and produce literature to guide new generation psychologists). So, feel free to explore those platforms and filter for psychology and sub filter for organizational if it's available. In Mexico, the universities want the professionals to be "auto-didactic" which means "self teaching" or "self motivated". That means that the more you learn how to find articles, filter for qualified content, and be able to interpret the readings and (here's the key) USE the knowledge to inform your understanding, the better you will become as an agent of change to communities and people. Sorry for that very lengthy explanation, but, we should take our teaching opportunities very seriously as to guide people to do the same.

Thanks a lot. I am in my PhD and often feel stupid reading papers, so this helped me!:)
Great 👍
do you have references to where you obtained your information?
