2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Drifter Like new Indian replica
I had to replace the vacuum actuated fuel petcock on mine right after I bought it this year, as there was a Honda recall on it and it had failed. And I had to replace the thermostat on the radiator, because those fails and then the fan won't come on when hot. But both parts were less than $15 and about the easiest things on the bike to swap in and out. Literally, one threaded bolt you screw out, screw back in with the new one. The flame gas tank was $300 extra at the dealership, so take extra special care of it and don't drop it and put a dent in it, or you will sorely be crying. Also, cover the LCD screen in the bright sun, they the liquid crystal will expand and the screen go bad. Mine hasn't. Store the whole bike in a garage out of the rain and download the service manual PDF for it and follow their maintenance schedule.
Pure stupidity on wheels!
Beautiful specimen. I hope it goes to a good home.
50%% Wow, you need to go back to school for your math.
Sweet! I picked up an 2005 VTX 1800 F two weeks ago! It is AWESOME! Love this bike! Could someone please tell me where I can find these highway pegs and mount! I am striking out everywhere! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Ride safe boys!
I really like these kawasaki cruisers. I say one at harley dealer used of course.nomad 2000cc very heavy bikes but i wish kawasaki would still make this bike probably settle for the vaquero. These are just good a motorcycle as is Harley and alot more affordable. I'm riding a 1988 kawasaki vulcan 1500 and it runs find just had the carbs rebuilt. Oh yeah always cover your plates nobody needs to see that.
Really nice motorcycle
We're on the same page. I was thinking, "that's a 4,000 dollar bike." With that seat, the pipes, and processor, l think 4,700 is right on.
Greetings from Western Pa 😎 Nice ride. I'm about to look at this same year and model. I'm used to a v star 650 so no gas gauge. How accurate would you say digital gas gauges are on a motorcycle?
I have had my 2023 Rebel 1100T DCT for just over two weeks and am enjoying the heck out of it!
Beautiful. Just picked up a 2005 F1 same burgundy color. MONSTER bike and a looker. Can’t believe how nimble she is for a big bike.
The fairing is being held together with zip ties . The bike hasn't been down hard at all ? .. L. O. L... 😮
It's beautiful, it has a real charm but I'm nowhere near having the money to buy it x)
I don't run no license plate either F the statists What did you use for the pinstripe on your rims?
th-cam.com/video/fLVsb_K5duE/w-d-xo.html
Stock with the vulcan.
S for sport! And parking brake, not emergency brake! The manual lever/button is behind the throttle!
Nice bike.Where did you get the engine guards?
Where is the a good place to get aftermarket parts like crash bars Solo Seats windshields and brackets different handlebars for these bikes? Thank you
If I was going to own a Japanese motorcycle! It would be like this! Not those damn sport bikes! I can't stand them! Nice Bike Brother!
Man ! You need a camera !
WHAT A NICE BIKE! John P.
That's the exact configuration i like, colour, windshield,no bag at the back,no rivets on seats, maybe some more chrome... But i think I will never be able to afford it , things here in Italy are getting every year worst, it's pretty hard for a worker to collect tiny amount of money.
What a beauty!!! 👍🏻
As far as I know the F models were not sold in the EU. As you said, it is the most sought after model and for a good reason.
Got the same bike but not spoke :) 2005 VTX 1800R LOVE it ! :)
1999 to 2006
That chip on the gas tank must drive you NUTS !!!
S is Sport Mode, I think?
I have always wanted one of these.
That's cheap! Mines 60k miles and I would want 4 grand for it.
Wow what a nice variety of Japan, big bore.... ❤
Beautiful.. Must admit I really like the original large seat, fits the proportions perfect imho
I got one last month. where did you get that windshield from?
I have same bike
It's not a replica it's a modern version of Indian's motorcycle
What's the big deal! Everybody knows it's not an exact replica but it's close enough I seen a video where a guy had both an Indian chief 1948 and the Vulcan Drifter side-by-side and they were very similar of course the 48 is very expensive I found one in a barn once
I was reading this cool comment and then I looked up at the name and I realized it was my comment from about a year or two ago at the bottom it said I found a 47 Indian chief in a barn once it's true
Do you happen to know the model name number of the wi dshield, I want one for my 1900 yamaha
Go with the OEM. It's solid not like some aftermarket ones.
They were cool.Wish they still made them, but I guess that would be an infringement on Indian now if they did.
Linda moto espetacular
Hello! Is that the stock solo seat? Thanks!
Hi my ctx 700n feels like braking around 60kmph while changing from 1st gear to second gear ( when 1st gear hits the limit).Same from second to third. So I have to change first gear around 55 kmph to avoid that jerk. Is that normal? Never happens with my other bikes. Thanks
You should shift just before the rev limiter. Not so hard on motor.
Qué fácil lo has hecho
I heard the drive shaft comes without lubrication from factory. True?
I got the same bike here in the Netherlands and love it. You do not see them a lot here, but for me the perfect bike.
I have one....brakes are not linked per Goldwing......but separate front and rear...
What is it leaking? puddle on the ground.
Nice bike Tim
If someone wanted could you put different handle bars on a bike like this
Also what bags are thoses
That's a bargain, in europe they go double as much. Beautiful raider ✌🏻😃
I just bought a 2014 S, Galaxy Blue.. Has 1436 miles on it..
Hey Tim. Nice bike! Its been a long time. Hope all is well. Love the slip of the tongue. LOL
I got a 09 Honda shadow and it’s a great bike also my shadow has a broken bolt in the rear seat as well exact same spot. I guess that’s something common with em
