Went to my local LKQ in hopes of finding the Rear Hatch Cover for my Civic and ended up coming up on something useful for a K-swap
New Tires on the K-Nugget

Yesterday’s work on the K-Nugget. The Falken ATR 660 225/45/17 in the rear were causing the inner tires to rub against the trailing arms. Using a 3mm spacer helped but the lug nuts were not sitting all the way in on the studs. So I swapped out the Tires with some ACCELERA 615 extra 215/45/17 and issue fixed. I still have to adjust the rear camber but way better than before.

Honestly i hate how easy u make this look, knowing what to do prior to looking up guides and how to’s its never this easy for me. I have to deal with stripped bolts and bolts snapping and when i look for help w that its impossible to find. Nice build tho bro hope mine comes out half as good.

Trying to put one on my Toyota century does it go straight to the battery or do I need to solder into to something else?
Just ground the negative cable into any location with a solid ground (chassis), the positive I added one of those add a fuse connections to the cigarette lighter so it turns on when you put the car into accessory.
So not a score because it was already gone. Got it.
What wheels ? Where did you get that grille from ? Will it fit a sedan ?

@@joshanthony619 if you buy the kit from Energy Suspension it comes with their formulated prelude, so you won’t hear any squeaks. I believe any multi purpose grease will work.

they do it in front of you, but if they dont you can request it to be performed in front of you. so far mines is running cherry.

@@raysb240sx Normally the unit needs to setup with the set-up card for registering the car plate number and vehicle type (regular vehicle, motorcycle, truck and so on) in the shop because tolls are different.

I have a 97ek with a k24 swap and an rbc intake manifold I already moved my vacuum port on the rbc so I wouldn’t have hood issues, I have innovative mounts, I have hood clearance issues, with your EKK2 mounts does your hood close without risers?? Thanks in advance also did you clip the hood at all?
Thanks for watching, with the hasport ekk2 mounts I didn’t have no hood clearance issues at all. No need for hood raisers, only issue I had was the RBC vacuum port slightly hitting the hood but after giving the hood a few love taps the issue went away.
Nice! What brand springs did you use and how much did it lower your car? 👍🏼
I used the Tanabe NF210 lowering springs, I believe it dropped the car 1.5 in the front and 1” in the rear
got one of these on my BH5 wagon, I also got a aftermarket touch screen double din all in Japanese

Thanks for watching, honestly where I live I am unable to take up such a project. the wiring can be a pain. Rather take it to Upnext Motorsports in San Diego where he did it way faster than if I would done it my self and cleaner.

Z3 engine harness is only good 8th gen civics. U want 02-04 rsx for k swaps
Definitely true, 02-04 harnesses are always gone, I’m slowing trying to see what parts are valuable and which are not. I did miss out on some potential comes up
Those shift cables are not desirable, u want rsx.. but the z3 has an oil cooler on em. Those are good for k24’s
For me the cables where a come because I could use the cables with the hybrid racing no cut shifter box, thanks on the info on the oil cooler I definitely slept on that
Yeah so the 8th gen shift cables are also good to use with Awd b series and tsx shifter box. Just a FYI
