It works. Just follow his instructions, especially at the beginning of the fight. The location is important and you should let him hit you for the very first time.

Don't cheese this guy man, he's one of the best bosses in the game.

There are so many just terribly designed bosses in this game. This is yet another one. Boss just doesn't stop moving and the camera messes you up, not to mention he blocks all your hits with his stupid wings. I hate the bosses in this game, which essentially means I hate the game, because that's all this game is. I will never play this game again. Nothing but frustration.

Maybe you can tell us how you put the game in boss easy mode.

Thank you for this tip, I don’t usually cheese bosses but Bishui Golden Beast was way too aggressive and bouncing around, the developers who made this game made this boss too aggressive in my opinion.

This is the build that got me through the second phase! Cloud step was a life saver! My dumb cocky ass got him nearly dead and decided for some reason to immobilize, pluck of many and tried to finish him that way but I missed and that wasted all my mana, he had like 10% health left and I was out of mana, and I thought I was screwed. Popped my soul remigration, transformed as soon as I came back, got a few hits in but avoided his crazy attacks. De transformed as he calmed down and barely managed to catch him with a charged attack at the end without cloud step. All this to say: FOLLOW THE GUIDE. Cloud step only. Don’t waste your mana on other spells like me and the fight shouldn’t even be close. I will add I didn’t do any thrust because I really wanted to end it with the wukong staff and smash stance I used the whole game.

I missed the chest in the platforming segment in Belurat Gaol! I knew it was there and saw the chest when I missed it originally, and I meant to go back and grab it, but the boss at the end of the dungeon caught me so off guard and I was so fascinated by some of the possible lore implications of its moveset that I totally forgot to go back to the start and grab the chest contents lmao. Thanks for taking the time to put together a video for the item locations, man. Super helpful for a compulsive "everything-collector" like myself!

I’ve been trying to kill this boss for 3 hours now, after reading the comments I rather keep him alive dying 200 times but learning how to dodge etc, Yes this boss is a pain in the bum, but it’s better to keep trying and learning the controls then just cheese him, will also be better for in the future of the game, but if you like to learn just try to beat him by not cheesing Ps, I ain’t a person who gets mad but this guy was on my nerves Edit: and it’s good to get levels if you keep dying.
