I bought a generic android unit from Amazon. Unfortunately, even though it supposed to be plug n play, there were absolutely NO instillation instructions. Plug n play was true but I had no rear speaker sound. One optional plug canceled rear speakers, other option grounded out all speakers. Thank god for videos like yours, browsing TH-cam I caught a quip about unnecessary ground wire. Clipped two wires on option two and everything worked perfectly.

Mines weird, i only lose amp on AV in ( use for Onn tv streaming stick and screencast mirroring to radio. ) AM, fm, Sirius, aux, dvd etc all work fine??? Mygig RHR in 2010 Ram with lockpick and av adapter. I already tried to replace av adapter but had same results?? If blue wire is for amp, i splice in and ground it ? It worked fot weeks then suddenly stopped ???
