Welcome. Glad you made it here.
What you'll find is a collection of improvisational jams. A glimpse into my songwriting process as snippets attach and detach from one another and evolve as a cluster of ideas.
I enjoy playing around with different sounds from my pedals and so for those of you are interested, I include a signal chain breakdown and sometimes talk about creating more elaborate tones and the gear involved.
I hope you enjoy the content. I've enjoyed making it.

a celebration, a wandering
One of those nights where the ideas just all seem to converge at once.
Kauer Starliner, Keeley pedals; Germanium Amplifier, Octa Psi (detune "chorus" pitch mode), Mk3 Driver (not used on loop portion), Halo Core, Zoma (plate and gentle harmonic trem, Eccos (for looping), Rotary. Everything stereo that can be, running into a Princeton on the left and 5f1 kit amp on the right.

Cool beans, Bru 🫘 😎
Sounds great dude!!
thats beautiful
That sounds so good! Love those chords.
I like the music you create <3
CRAZYY SHIT, WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU U GOT INSTAGRAM?
Smooth...like pumpkin spice beer with a dash of cayenne pepper.
EXACTLY Chuck! Perfect description.
Big huge grain on that overdrive. Round on top. So Octobery. 🙌
@@RobertKeeleyTV fuzz literally on zero, volume around 2 (BIG volume on tap on the Charing Cross) then the Katana actually bringing the level down a bit into the Halo. Feels magical under the hands.
It's really nice to hear you playing
@@ViTu_GdNi hey thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Who's with me here for Charing Crosstober, 2024?!?! Love the way you play Ted.
@@RobertKeeleyTV well, late start, but I’m down. It usually lives on the main board.
I knew you'd like those low super low bass tones! <3
Small speaker playback not recommended, lol.

Number One With A Bullet! Lol......
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Thanks! Happy Release Week!
You got one already
@@bigtguitars7312 I just MIGHT have been the first one to place an order on release day 😉 And Keeley ships quick.
Nice tone brother, love the progression!
Appreciate it! I’m definitely going to see what else grows out of it.
Sounds terrific! I love the dynamic range! When you play soft, it's really incredible.
Thanks! I have always loved that about the Katana Blues Drive. Very responsive.
One question: what is a germanium? I think you mean "geranium."
read the info
@@pz29 it’s just a little pun. Germanium is an element that was commonly used to make transistors for electronics decades ago and can be used to make diodes as well. Silicon (not to be confused with silicone) is more stable and sort of the modern alternative. In the world of guitar pedals though, germanium is often attributed borderline magical properties for how components made with it sound.
NOICE!!
Hey Bru! I have not looked into the Fat Bee at all! Play on Bru...
It’s a cool FET based drive. I guess designed in collab with Howard Davis (Deluxe Memory Man). It fills a similar role to the Super Phat or BD-2 as an amp-y drive that can get into power amp fuzz territory. It has a unique voicing though, and really runs the spectrum of touch sensitive low gain to blown speaker fuzz.
Nice work Ted!
Stellar! Keep bringing it brother!
Hell yes!
Excellent, well played, that is a super cool guitar
Thanks! 1955 ES 125. All original except the knobs. Obviously missing the pickguard. My dad bought it off someone at work back in the 80s when I was a kid and it was always the guitar around the house growing up. Eventually my dad passed it to me and it's been fun having an old friend around. Solid build and I love the sound. They're still a relatively affordable way to get into a vintage archtop.
@@slantguitars that so cool, I’m going to try to get one
hell yes
What a killer combo! Sounds so fun <3
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having a really good time with this particular set of pedals.
Nothing quite like a Ted Jackle jam with all Keeley pedals. So good! <3
I just saw this one and and jamming to it now, but the background noise level is really low and sounds great.

That's really nice playing and melody.
Appreciate it. Means a lot coming from someone who hangs out with the likes of Andy Timmons on the regular. 😅
Nice rig, Bru!
Thanks, man!
Very nice! <3
What's your signal chain here? Is it just the Frank here? Or is there some kind of modulation happening?
There is a touch of modulation with the 30ms Double Tracker. it has both a pitch (in cents) and time (in milliseconds) adjustment. This causes a slight chorus effect, but with our the circular oscillator running the whole time. Chorus without chorus. ;-)
Yup, just the 30ms going on for modulation on this one.
That was a wonderful piece of music.
Earth Fracking Huge Tone!
Beautiful tones.
Who else is on their third listen?!?!?!
Ha! Much appreciated! I was getting lost in that fuzz sustain.
You melt my heart Ted! I feel ya brother <3 <3
Loved it Ted! Looking forward to more.
Thanks for listening. I’m really trying to make recording these jams a regular thing.
Nice work Ted, liking the clean dissonant chord shapes from around the 5:40 mark. Cheers 😎
Thanks! That bit is part of a cluster of parts that I kind of have worked out as things that go together but I haven’t figured out how everything fits… I’ve always particularly liked that ringing arpeggio with the close intervals in there.
SUPERDUPER!
