    I heard this week, God didn’t come to make us happy.. we should have joy but I see people who love the worship. I do too, but it shouldn’t be the reason someone goes to church. I’ve seen it happen. I was raised Assembly of God. I moved I didn’t attend church except for special occasions. I found a Baptist church I’m now attending. The singing was slow which I wasn’t used to. I started going because we had a new pastor and he preached the word. It has changed to more contemporary songs but our worship leader is careful to line up with the Bible. I disagree with people getting hyped up. We should worship in fullness and truth. I just started listening to John mark and have learned so much theology and I’ve grown in my faith. He is teaching things we need to know. To grow in Christ

    It's good if anyone follows jesus, because Jesus would actually Guide us through 1 single pathway, but 3 in 1 gods are actually protecting us from doing anything bad to us in lifetime. It's always good to see and hear that God, Jesus and the holy spirit is protecting over anything. Matthew 4:19-25 19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." 20 At once they left their nets and followed him. 21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. 23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. 25 Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.

    Moses, David, Solomon had God's favor but it doesn't mean they're exempted from the consequences of their disobedience / sins, hence why it wasn't a happy-ending story for these men. PBD never claimed God's favor = wealth. He even said in a recent interview with Lewis Howes that God's favor is way more valuable than his wealth and status.

    I think it’s hilarious that you ended your segment about TH-cam talking about how the gospel of TH-cam essentially enslaves creators to the algorithm and their audience, and then you draw a connection to the gospel of Jesus… 😂 I suppose they both offer a promise and end in something else, for TH-cam it’d be losing your ability to make videos on what you want in exchange for viewership, and for Christianity it’d be losing your skepticism in exchange for a false sense of exuberance in the metaphysical. It’s also really funny how you just randomly talked positively about gospels in general after talking negatively about TH-cam’s gospel. Yes, being enslaved to the algorithm is good news. That makes total sense… I also think it’s interesting that at the end of the video, you don’t explicitly say that Tom chose not to follow TH-cam’s gospel because ultimately it wasn’t what it was made out to be. Maybe because then you could question whether or not gospels in general (including the gospel of Jesus) aren’t what they’re made out to be. (:

    Thank you for posting this, all important points that need to be considered and constantly re-evaluated. The main things are God is sovereign, we know how the story ends and what needs to happen along the way. Technology is only a tool to help more effectively meet needs. That said it can bee extremely beneficial to the worlds and the church, however, it should in no wat become a substitute for in person fellowship and worship. Will there be people that abuse it, yes of course. Many individuals levarade a variety of different tools, processes and/or substances to escape reality, at the same time God does now wnat us to not leverage tools for good just because there are those that use them for evil or out of weakness... Thank you again and God bless!

    Okay, you clearly don't know what you are talking about. I know you have a passion for the things of God but you are getting him wrong. Taking one part of his speech and making it all he said is wrong. Favour obviously isn't prosperity and it also, isn't the absence of favour. Favour is favour and it always shows himself. Favour is despite everything that happens (bad or good), it still works out for our good. Favour is not discomfort. You can't do something to demand favour that's why it's favour. You have to learn before you come online and post. God will judge every idle word that comes out of your mouth.

    This man came to America from a war torn Iran having lived in a refugee camp for 2 years. Worked hard, became a Christian and has been given much wealth and influence. A foreigner who wasn't born in America haa achieved so much, a godly wife, 4 children and above all else, became a Christian. Of course he's favoured. His influence alone is favour from God. Because God made him a great man you're doing a video on him, he defied the odds by God's grace, and continues to proclaim the goodness of God. Our journeys are different, Patrick doesn't have to be in a bush in Africa dodging arrows of a violent native tribe to claim his favoured. Being in a refugee camp in the 80s in terrible conditions, surviving it is great favour enough.

      @@pastorjoey This is true. I'm not saying he doesn't have genuine faith. I'm just not sure. And the only reason why it matters to me is because millions of believers are looking at Patrick Bet-David as an example of how believers are supposed to walk out our faith in Jesus. I'm concerned that he might lead unsuspecting believers astray in a few ways, such as his adoration of Elon Musk, his characterization of the Church as a business that is failing and needs to do better marketing, his idea that Christians are too tolerant and soft and Islam is beating us because they are not tolerant and soft, so implying we should be more intolerant like Muslims, etc. I've watched hundreds of hours of his interviews and PBD podcast, and I've maybe heard him say Jesus' name maybe 2 or 3 times in all of those hours watched. One time I heard him say he stopped going to a church he was going to because he didn't like when the pastor said it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get into heaven. He was saying it like he didn't want to hear that, and it seemed as if he was saying he disagreed with it. Either he doesn't know that Jesus said that or he doesn't agree with Jesus.

    I came here just to comment on how delusional you are, and also to inform you that you are clearly not one of Gods favourites.

      Not criticizing him as a person. I think his understanding, like others, around God’s favour is biblically incorrect. I’m sure he’s a great guy

      Are you asking "how often would you say I preach?" or "how often I said 'preach' in the episode?" haha 1. I preach roughly every 4-5 weeks. 2. No clue.

    Why do you feel you must reach us? You guys are unreachable, un-teachable, because you work for on blind faith.

    • @pastorjoey
      @pastorjoey ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment! Christians feel they need to reach out and share about the love of God because they have experienced it. If having a relationship with God is possible, and all humans are distinctly created for this, then reaching others is an expression of love. Also, all people express faith in something. This is not an exclusively religious action. A naturalist worldview is also an expression of faith. Regarding the unteachable and unreachable comment, you can find all types of people with these qualities. This is not exclusively a Christian vice.
