i knit my first sweater and it did NOT go as planned | Stellar Threads Vlog

Watch me completely goof on my first-ever knit sweater. Hopefully you learn from my mistakes 😂 I started this in late October and it ended up taking me until the first week of February to finish weaving in the ends! I chose this pattern because it had both a PDF and a TH-cam tutorial, check it out: Pattern: The Sunday Brunch Sweater by @Kutovakika Tutorial: th-cam.com/video/PwjcDeqpNyw/w-d-xo.h...

Easy Chunky Crochet Scarf Tutorial In this video we’re making a moss stitch scarf! This scarf is worked by the width, and the finished object measures about 7.5in x 7.5 ft (19cm x 229cm). You can easily adjust the width by chaining any odd number and following the same steps! And of course if you’d like your scarf to be shorter or longer, you can adjust the length. If you go longer, you just mi...

Beautiful work!!!!
Bravo very good job 👏
so underrated!! loved these tips, i am already a pattern designer, and tester, but im trying to get into pattern testing on instagram! thank you!
😩😩THE MUSIC!!! 😩😩
Sorry lol I’ll take note for next time
I got mine! Thank u ❤
With all do respect you were not clear as to how to do the brim. You were were going too fast and you list me. I am a seasoned crocheted and you just lost me.
I’m a proud Crocheter now😂❤
Great tutorial and easy to follow ❤
could u skip less chains to have a less holey, more tighter scarf? or would it throw the whole thing off
It would throw the whole thing off :/ but, if you use thick enough yarn, the small holes shouldn’t be an issue! It will still keep you warm :)
I tend to do better when things are verbally explained so I'd love to see a tutorial where it's verbal instead of written. Otherwise, I think this tutorial is fairly easy to follow
Totally hear you! This was my first tutorial and I learned a lot about what works well and what doesn’t :) definitely taking note of this!
It definitely not just 1 hour project for me 😂. But i love how it turn out. Thank you❤
I did not find this tutorial helpful at all. It was to fast in my opinion and kind of hard to understand.
if i was a begginer i would be ripping my hairs out of my head, cuase i am not a beginner and im almost doing it
Hey the brim on mine isn't this sturdy and keeps curling, any advice ? 🥲
Thank you for providing this wonderful crochet bandana tutorial. It was so easy & quick to make; only took me a couple of hours to crochet and it came out really nice. I like the way it fits on my head. Also, I really enjoyed listening to the music in the background. It was so calming and soothing.
Can i use dk yarn
Yes
Love the tutorials, but please kill the music!
Really helpful tutorial and good tips thank you very much
I love how it turned out but I am a beginner and I did not really understand it
Im following along with your video and this is the very first thing im making since starting to crochet at tje beginning of this month! Thank you for having such an easy to follow video ❤
Thank you for this information. Great to know all this. 💕
I am halfway done and just had to stop and say it is my very first time crocheting more than like 10 single stiches. In the beginning, i had to repeat a lot, but after a while, i got the hang of it. This is very easy!
How sweet! I’m so happy to hear this!!! <3
@stellarthreadsbymadison I finally finished it. I stopped shortly after this comment and got back to it an hour ago. 😅😅😅 I enjoyed this project, and I'll definitely make more in the future!!! Now I don't have to buy hats for my outside gardening jobs lol
I haven’t started this yet. But I lm watching this and I just wanna say that your a great teacher!
Oh my gosh, so sweet 🥹 thank you for this comment!!!
Ha! I often crochet with a 2.25 hook!
thank you so much for the tutorial!!!! perfect gift for my friend❤
yay!!! so happy to hear this :) I hope they love it!
Only knit or crochet with 2.5 needles or hook
Could you upload the gradation?
So is the peak 1 or 2 dc with ch 2 between?
Wow ! Fast
only crochet with 2.5mm hook
thank u Shrek
The first one
Amen ❤😊
The turn your work confuses me so much
Love this. ❤️
💗💗💗
Much better tutorial than the other ones won't lie
lol thank you it’s a work in progress 😂
ive done mine in 2 hours !! thanks for this :))
Nice work!! 🥳
Idk why I didn’t think of using it to help frog my old projects into cakes 😱 I always just frogged my projects and then wind it 😩 all this extra work
it's a gamechanger for sure!! 🤯
Thank you for watching my video! Please consider giving it a 👍🏻 and subscribing to my channel so you never miss a tutorial :)
I tried to write the pattern by myself, I hope it could help: R1: magic ring, ch3, 3dc, ch2, 4dc R2: ch3, turn, dc in the first stitch from the hook, ch1, skip1, dc, ch1, (2dc, ch2, 2dc in the ch2 space), ch1, skip1, dc, ch1, skip1, 2dc in the last stitch R3: ch3, dc in the first stitch from the hook, dc, [dc in the ch1 space, dc] ->keep alternate until the 2dc of the previous row, wich dc in each of them, (2dc, ch2, 2dc in the ch2 space), dc in each of the 2dc of the previous row, [dc in the ch1 space, dc]-> keep alternate until the last stitch, wich 2dc in it R4: ch3, turn, dc in the first stitch from the hook, [ch1, skip1, dc] -> keep doing it until 1stitch left before the ch2 space, (2dc, ch2, 2dc in the ch2 space), [ch1, skip1, dc]-> keep doing it, 2dc in the last stitch Repeat by alternate R3 and R4 :)
Crochet has been atound since the 15th century but became common in the 19th century. It has some history with nalbinding
As a beginner I think you could make it more easier friendly by talking about what stitch your going into. Since this is very confusing.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback! This was my first tutorial, was not expecting it to get this many views 😅 definitely making that change going forward!
I just finished mine! Thank you!!!
Yayyyy! Thank YOU 😊🫶🏻
Is this ok if done with velvet?
I mean realistically you can make it with anything 😂 that being said I have no idea how it’ll turn out but feel free to experiment and let me know how it goes!! Lol
For a first tutorial, I think you did great! I really appreciated the speed you chose and how you walked through each row of the bandana body with us rather than skipping parts, even though they were repetitive. Your labeling and descriptions were spot on! Wonderful job as far as I'm concerned. Minimal pausing was needed and that's always a preference to me!
Thank you so much for this comment, I really appreciate it 🥹💗 looking forward to continuing to improve with every tutorial!
Omg, I can't read. I thought it said "it travels easier"....
SAME
😂😂😂
😂☠️
this is so cool! do you have a tutorial?
I do not right now but it's on my shortlist!
I made my first bandana and I think it was a success! Thank you for the tutorial I have it saved until I get the hang of the pattern ☺️
Yayyyy!!!! Thank YOU for watching 🥺💗
For those who want to know how to start, it without looking at the whole video. This is it 😅 : Magic circle Chain 3 Dc 3 in circle Ch2 Dc 4 Then close the mc
Too fast and not clear enough😢 I couldn't get through it. I like the pattern though.
Sorry to hear that! It was my first tutorial, so definitely learned a lot from this one and I appreciate the feedback! If you sign up for my email list, you can get the pattern for free 💗 shorturl.at/ptwzH
