Dhanaulti: an Offbeat Hill Station near Mussoorie | Weekend Getaway from Delhi | Kanatal |
Dhanaulti is a small town located around 25 km from Mussoorie and 56 km from Dehradun. This quaint town is situated on the foothills of the Garhwal mountains of Uttarakhand.
It’s a perfect offbeat hill station to plan your weekend getaway from Delhi or Chandigarh as it won’t be as crowded as Mussoorie. You can also visit Kanatal alongside, another small town near Dhanaulti.

TH-camrs like you only provide half information or information which brings you more likes and followers.. It's right that Veer Hanuman ji is there and people should visit there for him and for scenic view but who will tell that what happens exctly behind that temple by some ignorant Himachalis, animals are sacrificed and you can see their horns lying behind that temple. It's wrong that just to get more followers you hide facts.

Share taxi bilkul available nahi hai. Na toh Dehradun se nahi Mussorie se. Galat information na de..iss se acha toh kuch bhi na kahe.

Hi when did you visit Sainj valley? Was it crowdy? I'm planning to around 15-20 june
June beginning. I don’t think you’ll find Sainj crowded even in peak season.

IS SAINJ VALLEY AND SHANGARH MEADOWS THE SAME ?? TO REACH THIS PLACE FROM JIBHI, WE HAVE TO REACH SAINJ VALLEY OR SHANGARH?
Shangarh is in Sainj Valley. When you leave from Jibhi, you will first arrive at Sainj village which is 42 km from Jibhi and then Shangarh which is 58 km from Jibhi, an hour drive ahead from Sainj. Sainj Valley and Shangarh meadows are different. The name of valley is Sainj and Shangarh is a town in that valley.

I don’t think monsoon will arrive this early. I feel it’s a good time to go, though still keep an eye out on weather forecast.
