They will eventually as head is not part of appendages, appendages are only arms and legs But they could change the description though, they have a choice. Pin-pointers would only be good against robots then if they removed the head. (Can deal high damage to robot limbs)

That's the problem with gauss rifle that I adapted a long ago when to shoot and when not to, where to aim in VATS etc. You have to really be good at using VATS when you want to fully utilize the gauss rifle

IIt SUCKS and couldn't agree more, gauss rifle is more of a niche and only effective depending on who uses it, this time, it's a VATS weapon outside of that it is trash. The only time I can't use it is when I go for raids as I use my full health gatling plasma build

It's not that OP, commando still outperforms everything else, heavy gunners with low damage per hit against weak spots (headshots, belly, limbs, etc) still shreds like the new minigun (dont know if it's in live game now but it was on pts)

@@TruOnyxfire They get killed one shot if that's what you mean. Modded one goes 50K HP, end game in F4 is boring without stronger enemies

50% VATS critical damage, -25% VATS AP cost tenderizer + follow through usually stacks with sneak attacks that results in high damage. 1st shot triggers the tenderizer and follow through, (legendary perk card). 2nd shot stacks with all the crit damage bonuses with tenderizer and follow through that negates resistances and damage mitigations. That's why 1st shot is not that strong, but the following shots deal a lot of damage after the perks are triggered by the 1st shot.
