Looks good mate, great video 👌
@@the_jnlt_channel Thanks Jase! Great to see you here again 😊
When you get new ones fitted, dab a bit of grease on them before fitting 👍😊
@@ambitiousautos1064 I managed to get them off and put the original plastic ones back on. I’ll keep that in mind for the next time 😅
Great video iv got a good install for u coming up lol
@@94conman1 Thanks bruv! I’m always up for a challenge 😁
Looking good fella 🤘🏻
@@themoddedheretic Thanks dude! 😁
Other than 20m of cable, its a very neat solution. I like how you routed the cable to the back without ripping half the interior apart. Well done
@@pigeonpoo1823 Thanks! The seals definitely helps hide and hold the wires in place 😊
Love it bro looks sleek
@@MrWaheedulHaque Thanks dude! It’s definitely hard to spot unless you’re looking for it 😂
U still fanning getting them off! Just cut them to the threads and remove, if needed take to someone and get the valves changed 💪🏼😎
@@Tom-dz7of I got them off in the end 😂 I just need to replace the sleeve
@@ShaksWD take them to a garage, they’ll replace the valves/sleeves for you
@ I’ll get the sleeve replaced when the front tyres are needing changed, which will be pretty soon 🫣
Still no joy. Out of interest, did the other 3 come off or is that too a touchy subject?
@@pigeonpoo1823 The back 2 came off using the same method, but the front 2 have definitely seized on. BUT I managed to get them off in the end (you’ll see what I had to do in 2 weeks 🫣), I need to replace one of the sleeve after trying
@ShaksWD phew
I used a dremal to cut slits in mines to make it widen up. Its the corrosion that bonds it together. Pliers can damage valves if stuck bad. I always use a bit of silicone grease on them after that bad experience
The absolute correct way to stencil intercooler right here. Well done.
@@NN13K0 Thank you very much! I really appreciate it 😊
Literally had the same thing, just grab a Jr hacksaw and cut along the top and side being careful to not mess up the thread. I’ve had to make a couple of cuts to loosen the pressure on the valve in the past the use some pliers to pull off the pieces.
It’s not great but you’ll end up doing less damage than trying to use two sets of pliers. Just be careful!
@@TheCrankynuts I’ve got my brother to the rescue, he’s going to cut it. Even tried heating it (next week upload) then chucked a roll at it 🤣
Put copper grease on when new, they will be fine . I've used this method for 10 years now and never had a stuck one since
@ thanks! I’ll keep that in mind the next time 😊
They look like anti theft caps, the bottom part of the cap has flat sides to unscrew one way whilst you unscrew the cap the opposite way
Haha you can use them just make sure you put grease on them before putting them on, in this case thats far gone 😭😂, might have to pull out the drill
Valve stems aren't too expensive
@@kcmill181 I like to try and see if I can take them off without replacing the valve stems. So the saga continues 🤣
How long did 476s last on your car???
@@josephmclean515 Hey Joseph, I couldn’t tell you as I stripped it and applied a new wax on after a month 🤣 but I have heard some lasted around 8 months with the right maintenance

use turbo lighter. heat the cap
@@cebepyccheul7476 Thanks! I’ll give that a try 🤞
This seems like a clay treatment I can get behind. The mitt, the Spa… that’s much less concerning than a bar. Thanks!
@@Playingwithsettings hopefully you found this useful for you to move forward 😊
How tight did you do them up🤦🏼♂️, bit of penetrating oil, if that doesn’t work I had to carefully cut with a junior hacksaw diagonally , just enough to release the pressure on the threads, don’t go too far, but you’ll need new caps
@@Tom-dz7of I’ve still got my original plastic caps. I think that’ll be my only option, I was hoping it didn’t come to cutting them 😥
😂 for the choice of music 😢 For what happened
@@pigeonpoo1823 🤣🤣 Lesson learned the hard way 😭
@ShaksWD have you actually got them off yet or are you hoping for some constructive suggestions?
@ they’re still stuck on. I think my only option is to cut them off.. luckily I still got my original plastic ones
That looks great. Good job. The product labels with dilution ratios was helpful.

Did you say that you used a microfiber pad with Pure? Why did you choose that instead of a foam finishing pad? your car looks great, and I'm new at this, so any Pure tips are interesting.
@@Playingwithsettings Yes, it was with the Meguiars microfibre finishing disc. It produced the slightest amount of cut on the BMW’s hard paint to get rid of couple of holograms, but ideally a finishing foam pad for the gloss. Pure is great to chemically clean the paint, great by hand application too. You can apply to the full car and then buff off. If you see your pad starting to get dirty, you’ll know PURE has lifted it away from the paint and swap to a clean pad and continue, but if there’s no mark on the pad, you know the paint had been thorough cleaned. I always use it before the panel wiping stage now before applying any LSP. Always panel wipe after using PURE as the product leaves a light protection behind. Once panel wiped, you’ll know it’s down to bare paint for your choice of protection to bond properly.
@@ShaksWD I suppose I'm asking because I'm preparing for my first machine polish, and I can either use my BH Cleanser-Polish on a white Hex (this is the safe route), or try and work with the Pure, which I'm expecting for Christmas. Thanks. - Mark
@ awesome! If it’s going to be your first time using a machine polish, the tip I can give is to always start off with the least abrasive combination first, if the result is what you desire, step up the abrasion until you find the one that works great for your paint. Enjoy the process, it’s rewarding when you achieve the result you’re after 😊 You’ll enjoy using PURE
Seems like a lot product still
@@edgarcorrado this was their first version. The v2 uses half. 2% is the equivalent to 5% from v1 and you can dial it all the way down to 0.5% PIR for a gently clean in the summer. I do recommend the snow foam due to the cleaning power 😊 Thanks for stopping by 😊

Considering the tiny creaces, i think it came out beautifully!
@@scootytamra thank you very much! 😊 but I will be redoing it next year as that’s us now into the winter season 🥶 🌬️
@@ShaksWDYes, it is winter time here as well, we have some warm days but when night comes it gets cold, all the leaves have almost fallen some trees are almost bare.
@ there’s still some leaves left on some of the trees over this way. Cold nights have arrived 🥶 the way the climate is going, we’re going to be having a wet winter season this year.
@@ShaksWD I agree a wet one for sure!
, Here's a question for you: How long can that window tint be left on before it's starts to degrade from the sun? The sun is potent, my poor car sits in it 24/7 and already i have noticed alittle clearcoat failure over my passanger door? Does the tint crack, or peel when it's old??
@@scootytamra the carbon window tint will help with the UV and heat as the film will deflect them saving the interior from any UV damage. The tint doesn’t crack but once it starts to go purple, that’s when to take it off to retint. But that’s usually in 10-15 years time
@@ShaksWD Well that's not too bad, and here i am having to use a sunblocker shade and a dash mat for the sun in my car to protect from UV. I guess it's worth it to put film in.
@@scootytamra I think it’s definitely worth it 😊
Well at least the little creaces are not too much in your line of sight to obstruct driving? I often wondered if that stuff gets rumples in it and if you can get them out?
@@scootytamra luckily it’s not in my line of vision. But I’m definitely going to be doing it again next year to keep practicing. It’s a shame when a random gust of wind caught it otherwise I think it would’ve been near perfect
Got there in the end. Do wipers behave any differently over ppf/tints?
@@pigeonpoo1823 I did so 😅 I haven’t tried it with PPF yet to tell you my personal experience but it doesn’t have any effect with the wipers when the glass is tinted as the film gets installed on the inside 😊
Didn’t look the easiest job, smashed it anyway 💪🏼😎
@@Tom-dz7of Thanks Tom! It’s a shame when the gust of wind came and blew the film off the car 😢
@@ShaksWD still all things considered a good job 👍🏻
@@Tom-dz7of Thanks Tom! I really appreciate your support for the channel 💪
please make sure that the tint allows 75% of light to enter otherwise it's illegal, also if a cop can't see the driver from the front, he's going to ticket you. I've seen some front window tint where you cam't see the driver, if so thats def a ticket and points, yours is fine, I saw a Tesla here in Canada and you could not see the occupants, thats def a ticket
@@AdrianJayeOnline there’s red chameleon tint people has on, and you can not see inside the cockpit from the front at all. Over in the UK, they measure the VLT and if it’s 75% l, as you said, or above it’s fully legal. Thanks for tuning as always dude 😊
Its always a pleasure watching you at work. Do you buy different tints to practice and experiment with? And, whats the minimum temperature you can apply at (not what your poor hands could)? Thanks again!
@@pigeonpoo1823 Hey dude! I like to buy different films to practice and experiment on my own car. If it’s a customer’s car, I like to stick to the brands I’ve used as I know how to work with it without giving me a headache 😂 Minimum temperature for light tinting and vinyl wrapping is 10C where as window tinting is different, you can do it in the freezing cold but as long as there’s no gust of wind, you’re all good. You’ll see in my next upload when I tinted my windscreen with the chameleon tint
