I'm a big fan of her playing, but I suspect that the 2024 Yuja Wang would play this ... differently (I haven't seen a recent recording of this from here). Chopin's ballades are ... dances, and this is hard to dance to.

i’d heard this piece so many times that i became used to it, but this performance really brought it back to me in full force, the dynamics and rubato are incredible, chopin would be proud.
