Would you recommend changing just the damaged shock absorber, or in pair on the rear side?
If over a year old…. Change bith
@@DIYManiacJohnP thank you, I have exact same model, lx trim, not sure if I can replace it myself, should check out at local repair shop
@@tornikejavakhadze7752 Super easy to do on your own
Oh my … this video is so informative. Sometimes people like me need to be told how like ABC 123 lol. Great content, thank you !
Thank you for watching
How do you like it so far? I'm thinking of getting one
I’ve used it a few times in emergency situations and it function perfectly
Great video. Shop wanted about 3x the price of the shocks and a couple hundred plus more in labor to do this. Will make a nice little weekend activity and save me around $330 US
Thanks for watching
2:05 Instead of cutting it of, you can buy an adapter for it. They are really cheap!
This was super helpful, however, like at least one other Commenter, the top & bottom tube description in your video was opposite for me. I have a 2007 StarCraft. Based on the ‘2660 Series Crank-Up Lift System’ one-page instructions from Goshen, the end of the cable goes into the top tube and the top set of pusher springs get pushed towards the rear pulley (operating the back lift). The cable then heads around the pulley & into the lower tube towards the winch and pushes the bottom set of pusher springs towards the front (operating the front lift).
Easy, clear an pro, thanks
Thank you for the kind words and for watching
Just installed mine and it went so smooth cus this video is way better than the paper instructions. The only part that took a long time was widening the hole because I decided to use a manual rattail file.😂 Tip: I used two small floor jacks that I lifted the trailer hitch onto and then I slid it under and just raised the floor jacks up a couple levels to hold it where I needed it and I was able to do it pretty easily alone.
Congrats on the install!! Thanks for watching
Before anyone tries this you will need the right size torx, t20 I think. Better in a jackknife set for torque when you adjust the valves. Also a 3/8 drive allen wrench socket and short extension for exhaust pipe. Obviously torquing the head is the part you have to get right so you will need a small torque wrench.
still one of the best videos for 9th gen civic rear brake jobs! I had one of caliper bracket fastners drop off (14mm) but can't find part number, can anybody help
Thank you so much for this video! Like so many people here we felt confident to try this repair and it worked like a charm. We bought a switch at our local electrical supply store for $4 and voila! Really thankful to you and wish you all the best :)\
Thank you for watching for the kind words
How much does this cost
$10 CAD
Rols gr?
I thank you whole heartedly. you saved us alot of money and time. cheers may be god pave ur journey in life with safety riches and people who will help you as u helped us all. amen!
Thank you for watching, glad the video helped you
Great video and guys please use the Honda fluid!!! The thermostat is a part that can fail and replacement and refill so much easier when you’re using OEM fluids!
Great point! Thanks for watching
@@DIYManiacJohnP do u still have your 9th gen civic ? What’s your mileage now? I’ve had mine since brand new and I’m at 193,000 kilometres I’m in Vancouver Bc!
@cavvvyr7021 I do!!! But it is now my son’s car. It has 250k km
@@DIYManiacJohnP wonderful! My son is just turned 13 and he will be receiving this car so I’ve got 3 more years ! What’s your main now? I’m still using OEM struts and rear shocks, not much bounce or any noise they are probably fine ? Would u recommend OEM only I noticed your videos u didn’t use OE
@cavvvyr7021 ‘24 Subaru Crosstrek Onyx Frustrates I would definitely go OEM. I went aftermarket or returned them after two weeks as they were too noisy and I got brand new OEM.
Very well explained.
Thank you for watching
Excellent! Thank-you!
Glad it was helpful!
Here from Reddit :D
:)
thanks for your thorough explanation - glad to know I can just clean the contacts. I bought a new switch a few months ago and just got to doing it today. It's working good again. Using the tester was a really good tip so I wouldn't have to remove all of the switches. That plastic bracing holding the switches is not easy to work with and easy to break the tabs holding them in.
Glad the video helped and thank you for watching
That was fantastic. Thanks for this

Terrific video. Thank you. I have GE microwave that powers on, counts down, and turntable turns. It just doesn’t heat up. Since the turntable turns does that rule out the door switches as the problem? Is the problem likely the magnetron? Thank you very much.
would you be able to link the trailer hitch installed and the ramps you are using?

I have a L110 with a Koehler engine 20 yrs with over 300 hours, no smoking whatsoever. I will never buy B&s engine, since they’re bankruptcy they have went to hell
Very simple video well explained! Saved me a 100 bucks
Thank you for watching
Excellent video thanks! Do you plan an additional video describing the trailer wiring connector installation?
Thank you! While my hitch will be used 99.9% of the time for my bike rack, I do plan on installing the 4 pin wiring harness. But I don’t have a time-frame as to when I will get that done. Thanks for watching.
Excellent! Explained Thoroughly! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I’ve had to replace switches twice on our Bosche microwave. This video is priceless. Thank you for posting it.

How do you measure for the correct size? Do you measure the outer frame or just the glass insert? I am looking to replace my solid glass insert to one with a sliding screen.
Inside dimensions of the opening in the door
I'm gonna try strut assemblies from TrueDrive which seem to be a little better quality than KYB/Moog?Monroe.
Thanks a ton, this was great, how many feet/meters of cable did you have to buy for that.
Thanks
Goodyear V belt worked great for my civic
What size is that philips head screwdriver to remove the screws for the plastic casing? #2 or #3?
Definitely not a 3. Either a 1 or 2
@@DIYManiacJohnP Thanks for the prompt reply!
Thule just confirmed... it is a #2 Phillips
Thank you for this. Also just use a hair dryer, or put it on passenger floor to the back where your air conditioning comes out. Put it on Max heat tho and put it to the floor. Too risky for oven if you ask me. But again than you for this video! Helped me a lot
Interesting. The kit i bought came with one single wire that connects the fog lights themselves to the fog light switch. It wasnt in two parts
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It helped me a lot! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind words and thank you for watching

Ii don’t understand how you hung 5 lb weight - first weight 20 + 5 = 25 if you go down one knock add 10 = 35 - how do you get 30 lbs?
Awesome man. I got the gloss ocean blue color on the same bike spec. I left everything stock except added the Fox half fender and a bash guard. I saw this cardinal red color in store but it was not available in my size. Both color ways are great this year. Overall liked the neutral of the “blue” because it’s really grey. I’m glad you like yours man I’m loving mine. I’m 6’2” and went the opposite way as you, with a size Large. I think it’s perfect. The only thing I’ll say is mine came with the RockShox dropper and it’s giving me problems already. I’ll be putting a OneUp V3 into it soon.
Happy to hear your loving your bike. Sorry to hear about the rockshox dropper issue but honestly not a surprise. Everyone has issues with it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting
Great idea and a great job making this modification - thank you for taking the time to this. I have been wanting to cut mine down to a single for some time but have been looking for someone to do it and post it. I also have a 2 bike add on - I am pretty sure it will work with the 1 bike cut down. I usually ride on my own and would love to cut mine down to 1 bike to get rid of the extra overhang etc. But my seven year old daughter now rides so we will be loading 3 bikes for our adventures very soon.
Thank you so much for watching for your comments
As the US owner of a 2022 Santa Fe Limited, I'm amazed at how difficult Hyundai makes simple tasks like changing the rear and wiper blades. It rivals the fact that the front windshield wipers don't have clearance from the hood's rear edge to lift the wipers away from the windshield for cleaning the glass. To park the wipers in the uppermost position for either replacing the blades or for cleaning the glass down low, the wipers have to be "parked" in the uppermost position by moving the wiper switch upward within 20 seconds of turning off the engine. This procedure raises the wiper arms and stops them for service.
Do you know if those struts fit a 2015 honda civic ex coupe?
Super helpful and concise. Thank you!

Once you strip out the allen, take a die grinder with the thinnest cut off wheel you can find and cut down on either side of the nut where it meets the stud until you are almost through the flange of the nut. Then put a wrench on what's left and it will come off.
I don't believe the 98 Coleman pop-up my family had while I was growing up had this system. I can vividly remember the cables went up each of the telescoping posts and were anchored just below the roof.
Do you know if thise would fit a 2015 honda civic ex coupe?
Thank you! Excellent video

Just did the install and my problem is that the switch light always stays on even when the car is off and lights off
That means you wired the illumination wire of the switch to a constant 12 V source
@@DIYManiacJohnP thanks for the info I bought the kit on eBay it was already wired that way probably mixed up the 2 red wire 👍
