F80 M3 RINGTOOL COMPLETED EP.5 (FROM STOCK TO TRACK)
In this video I finally get this F80 M3 finished up for good & back on the road.
The build is now complete & feels amazing to drive after joey worked his magic getting all the alignment / geo set up perfect on the car.

This car has had a lot of hours & work put into it to get it to this point coming to me in a bad way & changing it round into a real head turner, just like to say thank you to everyone whos followed along on the build & of cause the owner for letting me get stuck into this build.

Just film it all on my phone & a tripod, if I ever reach my channel to a point where it pays I’ll be putting it straight into a proper camera 🙌🏼

No this car has no aftermarket differential support, obviously it’s helps but it’s not a must have upgrade so opted out
Mate you need the camshaft alignment
It’s doesn’t because it’s a fresh rebuild because the crackhub went, if your addressing to the noise the fan module has gone keeping it on full time
Hi mate my BC Er's came today. One thing I've notice over those in the video are mine came with normal progressive rate front springs not linear one like in the video? Is this because I opted for the normal spring rate kit? What rates did you pick?

Hi do u know what mods are needed for a street car on a track standard power i have a gr yaris thinking of going for a m3 f80 next
Trial & error, bare minimum is like wheel tyres, coilovers & brakes
Mate get that speakers out, if go down the road you will and up with a fully build like I did with my m2. The sound in a empty track car is amazing!!! Just get some good voice cancel inears and ur good to go :) I sold my m2 and got now a m4c and I will do the same gt build like my m2, now I’m enjoying my m4 Clubsport build with Navigation and music, but I will throw it out over the winter :) and do the same thing with the m4 like I did with the m2
Probably will end up doing it at some point, plan is to go full cage after this season so will probably loose them then & got some stuff for the diff now so the whine might change my mind as well once all that’s in 😂

I don’t know why I always see BC Racing on UK “track” cars? In the Netherlands is the most budget and shit coilovers you can get😂🙈 We run with Intrax,KW, AST/Moton. I only know honda guys use BC Racing (because of low budget). Maybe you have different ones because I see extra reservoir etc.
Ahahah technically bc are the cheapest good set of coilovers you can get in the uk really, step up from the set we run is intrax or nitrons, basically save a little bit of money with bc or balls to the wall 😂😂

love the diy splitter mate. Gonna try to recreate this out here in California on my F82. Hopefully gonna try to add the bolts going through the front bumper with a diy air dam like the GT4 splitter shows also, and pair it with some canards. No idea how in the world im gonna do this but hopefully soon. How'd you measure the original one you made? And it's plywood right?
Got some work ahead of you there, be mega if you can get that done though & just do a cardboard version first then transfer that to the boards which is a “anti split poxy resin board” mainly use for scaffolding

Thanks man much appreciated as always, I’d say yes to that, just gotta be careful with the camber to toe on alignment really for daily use because if you get it set to aggressive then your going to kill tyres like no tomorrow

I just put a MAD single mid pipe on my G80, along with a SST valve controller, and it is a huge upgrade to the sound. It can be obnoxious with the burbles with the valves 100% open, but stock quiet with the valves fully closed.
As someone switching up an F82 to a track build I’m Really enjoying these videos 👍😍 Can i ask, what are you jacking the car up on? I didn't know there was a point in the middle of the car.
Thanks man glad your enjoying them🙏🏼, both jacking point & in the same place as a m4 however on most cars like the m’s you can jack them up anywhere on the frame what runs down where the side skirt is, this won’t damage the car, I’ll drop it in the next vid for you 👀

Gorgious car, much prefer the M3 to the M4. Could the boot leak be from the wing mount holes? Maybe thats why the boot handle was being dodgy?

To be fair I’d say there a very underrated coilover definitely more ideal if your looking for really good coilovers what are half the price of other brands
