Is there any evidence of mangrove in the region prior to the 500 years we were in the Little Ice Age, 1350-1850. Maybe they just died back and now since exiting the LIA they are simply returning. They were also likely around around 900 years ago when we were in the last periodic warming period which by the way occurs roughly every 1,000 years so we should be heading into one about now.

Freshwater flow is the point of her research. Bull sharks are notorious for being able to go from salt to fresh and back again.

Estuary= What is a simple definition of estuary? An estuary is a partially enclosed, coastal water body where freshwater from rivers and streams mixes with salt water from the ocean. Estuaries, and their surrounding lands, are places of transition from land to sea.Apr 25, 2022 www.epa.gov › nep › basic-i...

Nice try, but she said "in the estuary" at 0:19. She's not going to repeat the same qualifier every time. It's a research reserve. No hunting and fishing would be allowed by humans and humans aren't part of the natural ecology. She is specifically studying human impacts on the ecology with bull sharks being the focal point.
