Welcome to this evolving personal musical exploration.
I've been a musical sidekick and recording engineer/ producer to innumerous great musicians for decades. So, I thought it was time to capture my own melodic landscapes.

Today's digital music world likes to have everything labeled...so I’ll call this round of my explorations - 'melodic instrumental, new age, world music'.
I hope you get a few moments of joy from it. I did.
But it’s also okay to be unmoved by it. Music, to me, is about communication. If it speaks to you…great! But, not everybody speaks the same musical dialect. That’s the absolute wonder of music.

Baldr's Dreams - Music of Norse Mythology
Welcome to the sad and gruesome story #9 in the music series "Of Fire and Ice" - Music of Norse Mythology. The god Baldr experiences ominous dreams about his own death, causing distress among the gods. To prevent this fate, his mother, Frigg, extracts oaths from all things to never harm Baldr. However, the trickster god Loki discovers that Frigg overlooked the mistletoe. Loki fashions a spear from mistletoe and tricks Baldr's blind brother, Hodr, into throwing it, leading to Baldr's death and setting in motion the events that will lead to the catastrophic Ragnarok.

Love this story of Idunns apples. The elixir of youth and all embraced in this wonderful music. It is definitely music to transport us and with every listen of each stepping stone piece of music to the next we somehow feel ourselves grow gradually a little bit younger. Wonderful feast for the ears.
