Sure, there’s probably a ton of other cities Sonya could’ve spotlighted too, because Georgia is so awesome there’s so many choices and opportunities for most anyone! But I can tell you that the 5 she highlighted are worthy and spot on! The information she presented is accurate and good to know. We have a “good” problem here in Georgia; we have so many amazing cities and towns that anyone would easily want to call home, especially in their golden years. A big benefit to living in Atlanta and/or the state of Georgia is that #1, the hospitality and charm of most people, #2, YOU CANNOT BEAT OR FIND THE VIBE, CULTURE, AND LIFE ENERGY WE HAVE HERE, #3, you have easy access to numerous gorgeous mountains for hiking, lakes, rivers, and the beautiful beaches! You can easily drive to other beautiful states, like North or South Carolina, Alabama and Florida beaches, . Easy travel via Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to other states, and short flights to some Caribbean islands destinations! The food scene is off the chain, the seniors entrepreneurial spirit is alive and thriving!

Great tip about the taxes in Marietta. Cobb County has sky high property taxes. Past age 62 sounds fine. Get ready for some traffic. Agree on the medical facilities.

I live in ga, totally agree with your list , Canton is a little iffy, very few blacks live out there. Its changing tho slowly

I love Peachtree City, but along with Fayetteville it is a bit expensive pertaining to housing and right now has limited new construction. However they do have a new nice hospital.

In the future, it would be great to list the cost of living expenses in each city (ie housing, food, transportation, healthcare, etc).

This list didn't mention my town thank God, we don't need any more new people to move where I live
