I don't see a remake happening but i'd just love a straight port, Sega could fill a whole console with just amazing games only ever released in Arcades.

Okay yeah they're gone, both the version pre sega merger and after seem to be archived about 90% so they're kinda there but are missing parts, which sadly include the links in the BGM section. So Keith.mp3 and Trish.mp3 seem to be lost, unless you still have them sitting around? You should upload them somewhere if possible! i'd love to hear them as i didn't even know those snippets existed before. /www.wow-ent.co.jp:80/product/wildriders_site/ The BGM page does confirm the Name of the songs, or more so proves the lack of names, which is great to know at least, i'll see how i can change the titles and descriptions a bit closer to match them. @@HKT-4300 I do still have them sitting around! No idea why you can't download them, although it is the same for me. Not the first time I've had no idea how I was previously able to get something off of an archived site and not a second time. I'll add a reply with the link to the Google Drive folder with the 2 tracks, but if it doesn't show up here, that probably means the links got detected and it's in a malicious comments area or something.

Edit: typed that befre listening and holy crap these are uncompressed!! Crazy to hear these they sound so much better than the ones stored in the ROM, makes the lyrics a little more intelligible as well, seriously thanks for saving these!!!

I'm happy to know i wasn't the only one annoyed these weren't available anywhere, people keep slowly trickling in saying how long they've wanted access to these tracks, i'm glad i was able to help with preserving their legacy!

Little update on this, i got curious again about this and it seems they only went by Faze4 at the start of the group getting together, After they split up and got another band member they changed their name to Vi3, made 1 single and 1 album. Still hard to actually find full tracks of but thier album seems to be on Apple music. Spotify and even TH-cam, although all seem region restricted in some way. th-cam.com/video/6KipK51hweg/w-d-xo.html music.apple.com/us/artist/vi3/69765 Unison does seem to contain the only easily available recording of any of their song with the original 3 members when they were still known as Faze4, they changed their nameto Vi3 in august of 2001 which the American release of Unison only predates by about 5 months, which does credit them as Faze4 on the back of the case. www.geocities.ws/crazy4_vi3/page2.html Some more info on em, seems wierd the only thing available from them pre 2001 is a song in a Japanese developed PS2 game, considering they had some pretty dedicated fans you'd assume at least someone would have uploaded a crusty MP3 album or single somewhere.

Wish I knew! They weren’t officially released, they just exist as audio in the Rom of the Naomi cart, would love to know that along with the lyrics if it were ever to be made public by Sega.

Hey that's dope! I can link you the uncompressed versions if you want! I do the same thing with the Xbox version of C2C but i play various Sega racing soundtrack CD's hahah, you better have Scarlatto from F355 challenge in there! Hahah As far as ripping these goes it seemed like no one had any idea on how to get to the actual music from Naomi games as they're all just BIN dumps of actual rom chips so it's hard to make heads or tails of without the proper tools. So after various failed attempts over the course of a year or so, i realized i was looking for sound samples in big chunks of data, i thought why not just listen to all the raw data and see if i can at least locate what file has the themes, but turns out after locating them, that method was enough to get them sounding like they do in game! Can't believe it worked honestly.

@@HKT-4300 I would love to have these uncompressed files please! And i'm listening to Scarlatto and honestly, i might end up swapping out the Indy 500 theme for Scarlatto! And honestly you might want to write up a tutorial for others to try and follow so that any songs that are arcade exclusive and never had a proper OST release can be extracted!

​@@GUCFan Scarlatto's great! Yet another great SEGA song with nigh incomprehensible lyrics, yet in all cases that somehow makes them even better. I'd like to do a tutorial if my method wasn't so jank, i'll try to nail down a good step by step and if i do i'll write up a tutorial somewhere or make a little video here. Thanks for the idea! Are there any other non-ripped songs from ROM based games that come to mind? Also i've added Download links to both video's, enjoy drifting along to em! :)

@@HKT-4300 So far i have no titles in mind that haven't been ripped yet. I thought WaveRunner GP didn't have a game rip but it does. Dunno how easy it would be to rip the songs from Sega Hiraku games though. Apart from NASCAR which had an official soundtrack release under Crush 40's old name for the band, i don't think any of the other games on the platform has had their music ripped.

@@GUCFan The process might just be exactly the same if it's some form of sampled audio, Planet Harriers, Virtual ON 4 and Brave Fire fighters seem to have had their OST's ripped, but it might be fun to give Air Trix a shot!
