Loving your videos--thank you for doing them! I'm not into the Disco Balls, but I do adore pink for Halloween AND for Christmas. One thing I noted, listening to someone in surface pattern design, is that people still gravitate hard for the traditional red and green combo for Christmas--my own (adult) daughter is one who always prefers red and green for the holidays, which kinda surprises me, but there ya' have it. 🤷🏻‍♀

Love these videos! I like to see what other designers are thinking and how far ahead of the game they are as far as timing and creating for the holiday season.

Hi Jordyn! Thanks for the video! May I ask what kind of cardstock is that? Is it coated or not? I checked the website in your blog but did not find the info. The reason I am asking is that i have tried multiple cardstock brands in my pixma pro 200 but i am gettimg very dull colours, not vibrant as yours at all. I think it is because of the wring type of cardstock i am using and i am really struggling to find a suitable one

what I cover in each section: *- rough cut:* how to close gaps, cut clips, cut beginning/end of clips, keyboard shortcuts *- transitions:* doing a tap to color transition, and dropping a sticker to finished product transition; how to zoom in two ways *- phase 2:* speed/duration, maintaining audio pitch, removing background noise, muting tracks *- phase 3:* copy/pasting attributes *- quick tips:* unlink/deleting audio, locking tracks, adding graphics, sound effects, moving a graphic

This was SO generous of you to share, thank you! I'd throw Jakprints into the mix, too - I've been using them for years. Their customer support is what really sold me. Unfortunately they recently switched from a crack-back backing (which is why I'm checking out Sticker Giant now) to a die-cut + kiss-cut, giving an additional slight edge of white border which, unfortunately, is NOT easy to peel away from the sticker. If they switch back to the die-cut with crack-back backing, I'd go back to them. Regardless, Jakprints is the type of company that has actual humans who will email you feedback & advice on your particular project, which I really appreciate!

I totally feel you. I have just not been feeling inspired and ambitious on creating anything it really sucks... and with all my health issues the last month it has just made it worse. I am undergoing a few more tests and scans this week so hopefully have some answers and get my life/work back. I really hate feeling cruddy all the time that def doesnt help to encourage me to be motivated... Self care first right?? I was super happy to be able to work on my etsy shops this past weekend and was able to get my back to school launch completed and my shop update done. Now i can get started working on my fall/halloween collection which I have been dying to do! I have several new coloring books planned so I am jumping in head this month!!! Getting back to posting atleast daily on instagram and trying to atleast do reels on instagram daily. I have been trying to get myself motivated to record again for youtube as well!

I started my own shop and an Etsy at the same time. Etsy is doing better. I just need to do a better job marketing my own shop/website. Which I suck at. 😬 I only sell SVGs and haven’t explored printables… but I’m wondering if sticking to just one or the other is the way to go… 🤔 But I also do not enjoy coloring (unless I’m watercoloring) so coloring pages aren’t my comfort zone… LOL!

Thank you for this super helpful video!! I thought I would interject on your graph at 16:45 that Sticker Blitz actually does offer sticker sheets, just so you know! I ordered some myself! And to comment on weather resistance, my mom has had the same sticker on her car for over 2 years and it still looks good as new, no color fade or peeling

Stickermule was what I used also; the stickers I have from the original order are still alive and not faded 5 years later. But given the recent Sticker Mule political emails and what I learned of their founder since, I'd rather pick any other sticker maker (there are so many!). Thanks for the review.

I'm new to Procreate, but have learned enough to print my art on my Epson. I'm wondering if you have a "video for dummies" on how to drop in your logo for the back side of the card. I'm comfortable with working with lots of layers, but have never taken art from another canvas and used it elsewhere. Thanks so much!

Yes Yes and Yes!! Like Everything!! And I think that as a female with ADHD we go through cycles with our ADHD or at least that has been my thoughts on it lately. I feel like there are times in a month when i feel great and I dont struggle as much and then there are times when i struggle really hard to even do basic things. This could also have a lot to do with our regular womanly cycles more so than ADHD. I was diagnosed earlier this year as well and I am 38. I have been feeling this way and dealing with it my entire life and just feeling like there was something wrong with me. I would love to chat more with you if you would like that! I have definitely been feeling lately that i need someone who understand what i am going through and shares the same goals as i have to talk with and maybe even be an accountability buddy for. If not that’s okay too. I really enjoy your content and I think you are doing an amazing job! I found your designs years ago on a site and loved them and have been using them here and there for personal projects for years. I have only recently found you on youtube and I am glad I did!

I started reviving my shop and saw a HUGE increase in order and then I stopped uploading because I was busy with other things. I am finishing up with the rebrand of the TH-cam channel and August I am finishing up my rebrand of my design shops which includes Etsy. Design Bundles used to rake in a good amount of money for me and I have definitely lost my footing since...well ya know lol BUT my second was Etsy. I also do quite well on CF when I upload regularly and I am thinking I will probably pull away from sofontsy (also tanking) and Design Bundles as a designer and primarily focus on a regular upload schedule for CF and Etsy. I also have decided to implement a membership for my customers to compete a bit. I plan to put some designs in the membership that you can only get there and keep my membership price affordable.

The problem with Cricut, as you said, is they’re not accepting new designers, so many do not have an opportunity to even try it out as a marketplace for their designs. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I meant to answer your question: I started Etsy and my own webstore simultaneously. Etsy is doing better for me because I have been timid about marketing my own webstore. I’m not doing great by any means on Etsy-it is taking me time to build an inventory and I am relying on organic growth, as opposed to advertising. Not looking to replace a full time job/build an empire (LOL!), just to pay for a family vacation every year, or a random major purchase, as we are on the verge of retiring.

Hi Jordyn, do you have any information on when the orogram will be accepting artists. I sent my svgs quite a while ago, they were received, but no one has responded. You're speaking my adhd language <3 I totally feel you. I'm desperate to start a business but just can't... start? I keep 'learning' or 'preparing' and just struggle to do it at all... the 'research stage' is my perpetual state of being unfortunately. I can't stand feeling like I'm bad at it. I also struggle to try again after the first try. That's probably why there's so many months between my youtube videos. I am finding it to be an overall negative in my life too tbh, not to be a debbie downer as well hahah. But I just feel like I'm simply not achieving what I 'should' be able to and am not good at letting myself off the hook even when it's clearly a symptom. Instagram tries very hard to show the positives but it's just so hard in my experience. I would love to hear people's positives as well, because I have a similar problem with the 'can't remember the things you've done in a day' feeling so I feel like I have never made any progress - but also that I can't think of what it is that's a positive. There probably are some they just don't seem to exist to me most of the time hah. Went off on a bit of an essay there - sorry. I don’t know why “coastal grandma” is a term, LOL! I’m a grandma and I live on the coast but I find that term makes me feel dowdy and old. What if you called your collection “Coastal Cottage”? It is charming, cozy, calming and refreshing all at the same time. 🙂 I look forward to watching your licensing series!

Btw, the blender is in fact an eraser, not a blender. Don't use it to blend colors. It won't work. It will lift the colors instead. Just use the lighter color to blend it with the darker one. Apply the lighter color, then the darker, then blend them by using the lighter color again on the spot where they meet.

I wanted to get those Effimeso markers, since they are very affordable. But I have seen several reviews where people say these markers cause yellowing on the previous page when using them in sketchbooks/coloring books. So I bought a set fof 168 brush markers by a brand named Chotune on A-zon instead. Those are really great so far and I just paid €50 for them. Ohuhu's are too expensive for my taste. Especially since they don't have refills for all their colors (just ~50 colors are covered so far). Some people also say their colors are very inconsistent. Meaning, when you rebuy a certain marker, the color doesn't match your previous one even tho it's supposed to be the same color. That's why I'm staying away from Ohuhu for now.

Thank you for this video and the time it took to do it! I found it to be really interesting. I'm not a seller but have been thinking about what to do with my skills now that I'm retired. I have used my degree in Graphic Design and Marketing for nearly 30 years. Between all the online classes and TH-cam videos claiming anyone can make $1k a day, there is a ton of junk being sold. I've seen the same designs on Etsy being sold by numerous people. There's so much trademark infringement. I've noticed an unbelievable amount of typos and grammatical errors. I recently ran across a large group of people asking how to use Canva so they can sell things on Etsy. If anything, it seems more people than ever are trying to make money online. It seems that the ones making money are those claiming you can make a lot of money working very few hours if you take their classes. I think your survey shows that's not the case. Good on you for reaching out to others and getting some good information on what's really happening for many small business graphic designers. It truly gives me a lot to think about. Hope your feeling better and your camping trip was great!!

I have been ordering stickers from Sticker Mule for a long time and I just want to add my experience with them. Sticker Mule sent me a wrong order (someone else's) and they were not able to replace my stickers saying that it was too large of an order for them to fulfilled in time for my show. (I had an extra week until my show, but they still weren't able to do it in time). I wasn't happy with their customer service. Also their hologram stickers tend to have a big line that goes through it. They replaced them for me before admitting it as their fault, but the last time, they said their paper is like that and didn't replace them for me. Also one time, their hologram stickers had debossed dust/sand prints. They said that their machine needed to be cleaned and they did replace those for me, but it happened 2-3 times.
