I started this channel in 2020 to build a portfolio of work and improve my presentation skills, which will hopefully help secure a full-time job as a tennis reporter one day. Secondly, to help promote and better British Tennis. We have many young, talented & hard-working players and coaches across the UK, I want to give them a voice, through writing articles, filming videos and conducting interviews. The ultimate aim of this blog is to attract new supporters, but also to entertain the current fans - and help them build connections to players.
Please feel free to comment on the videos, all of my articles and interviews are posted on Twitter and Instagram so any shares are appreciated too, but most importantly - enjoy.

Thank you, much appreciated!
Head of the ATP is Italian and doping is rife in Italian Sports, including many tennis players. Sinner is guilty.
U go Meddy and Zverev. U got the power. ❤
Hope Jannik will be the champion.😊❤
So many Trolls are obsessed in rubbishing Emma Raducanu,s achievements, especially her 2021 US Open win, but I know and I think the Tennis World knows that thousands more follow women's Tennis because of her and importantly not just because she is a young and talented player but because of her game style, movement, charisma, grace, watchability, that players ranked and established in the top 100 can be lacking. It seems like the majority of her fanbase, pundits and Tennis podcasters called this one correctly i.e. that it appeared crazy to only participate in one hard court event prior to the US Open with some misguided expectation that she could use a few days practice and the first Match to get her up to speed and backed up by their analysis being that Kenin had not won many games and inconsistent BUT that was a flawed analysis if it didn't take into account how Kenin typically raised her level for the big events as she did here and Emma found herself playing catch up and had she been tuned in and turned on from the first point there was a larger probability it wouldnt have even gone to 3 sets with Emma coming through in two which is what most probably thought including her and her Team. Wow was Emma and her Coach and Management taught a lesson and one they need to learn from. That said as a supporter of Raducanu I feel for her because every move, every word every win and every loss is scrutinised and yet there were I think 8 British women at this years US Open with all of them exiting in qualifiers, Round 1 or by Round 2 and not much said about that, 2 of which are ranked higher than Emma and included the British Nr 1 & Nr 2 Boulter & Dart. We also tend to forget which other players have only won a Slam at the US Open and these are Tracy Austin, Gabriela Sabatini, Samantha Stosur, Flavia Pennetta, Sloane Stephens, Bianca Andreescu, Emma Raducanu & Coco Gauff. I hope Raducanu and her Team correctly analyses this loss and importantly how and why and who was responsible for getting it wrong and reach conclusions that will see Emma have the best preparation possible for every Tournament she is entered into.
At least she will retire as a Grand Slam winner. But it will be the only one.
Raducanu announced at the start of this season that she wouldn’t be chasing points and tournaments this year. She was going to spend time off the match court to improve her strength, stamina, fitness and skills. I reckon she is still being cautious with her wrists. She wasn’t able to train, practice or compete to high level for about a year (2022-23), because of the pain. She doesn’t want to have that problem ever again. Then had triple surgery and rehab that ruined the rest of 2023. She can’t train, practice and improve if she is involved in events every week. She maybe thought that going through qualies before an event would be too much for her just yet.
Very fair assessment, I can appreciate the doubt over the wrists - hopefully she is ready next year to compete consistently. Thanks for commenting :)
She only talks about the past because she gets asked about the past.
upcoming events for Emma: WC Korea 500, direct entry for China Open 1000 (96D) and WC Hong Kong 250
Great news, needs to be competing regularly. Thank you for commenting!

Nothing she was over hyped and over rated.
Rubbish...you don't win a Grand Slam by being overrated. She does have what it takes, but she has to come to terms with the changes to her body post injuries but also the weight of expectation from her status as a grand slam winner requires adjustments.
Here then some other "over rated" players who's only Grand Slam win came at the US Open - Tracy Austin, Gabriela Sabatini, Samantha Stosur, Flavia Pennetta, Sloane Stephens, Bianca Andreescu, Emma Raducanu & Coco Gauff. I would agree though that some media outlets tend to over-hype any Brit that suddenly does something noteworthy. If we take Andy Murray his career lasted 23 years and in that time can count 3 Grand Slams Titles. Emma has only participated in 4 Slams I believe to date and won one of them. I think we need to give the young girl a bit more time before claiming her over rated.
You re right, Novak 25th, and you can take that to the Bank
Hopefully, thank you for watching! Enjoy the tournament 😊
Be the best,Jannik! Be thr champion!😊❤❤❤❤❤
Good luck, enjoy the tournament 🎾
Siner MISTER DOPING CHEAT..😮😮😮
at time he was tested the amount of a substance was too low to affect his performance. But before he was tested the level of this substance was much higher and certainly affected his performance
@@annalax375 oh really. Here comes another one. Did you personally do a test to him before or you got second hand information no one else knows about? Please STFU and don’t make stories up
Doping is doping he should be banned and Darren Cahill. Cahill has been involved with 2 players caught doping!
Jannick Sinner has single-handedly killed my love for watching future tennis matches. Thank you Sinner for being the mob boss of the tenis world and murdering it.
Come on, dont let you be fooled by biased western media. One billionth of a gram is not quantity of steroid that he took but LEFT OVER in his body that his team was hoping would be zero. Initial amount of steroid that was taken will stay mistery forever.
That's a fair opinion - certainly a debatable subject, interesting to see how he deals with it at US Open.
For me, now and on he is DOPER and CHEATER.
Content's good, but please get voice training.
Thank you, I think 🤣 I do this in my free time for fun, I never claim to be a professional or analyst etc. I will make an effort to try & be more clear in future, I’m getting better with time. Thank you for watching 😊
I just want to say that a few pointers in tone, pausing and chunking from a coach would really lift your delivery .
@@vivienlilley4059 Ok, I’ll take that on board, thank you for the feedback.
World number 1 is still allowed to compete shows a complete lack of moral ethics and for you to believe his team’s ridiculous story shows how gullible you are and how tennis now stands in the gutter. The fact he is number 1 in the world requires that the hammer and full weight of sports administration to ban him for 2 years to uphold the integrity in tennis, it isn’t a matter of whether you like him or not!!
The tests showed he had 1 billionth of a gram in his system is the crucial part. That would categorically not improve performance level, and if he purposely put it into his system himself, he would surely have more in his system. I agree it has been handled poorly & Sinner isn’t indefensible - he should never be failing drug tests with the team around him.
@@DanRodenby It’s funny how a second one billionth of a gram was found again on his second failed test, it shows the signs of systemic doping, I’m sorry his story doesn’t hold water and the real story has been swept under the carpet, the ATP is a disgrace.
@@2kool4myskool I agree the ATP has handled it terribly - why should it take 5 months for this to come out? How was his suspension lifted in 6 days when it took other players years?
Spoken like a patriotic Italian. LoL 😂😂😂
1 billionth of a gram.. but which result for which test ?? He had 2 tests *8 days apart* It doesn't sit well when that very same physio had the same issue with other athletes in other sports.. he knew all to well what he was doing But the biggest issue is where was the initial ban from playing until the final verdict is given??? Rules for some and rules for others is corruption at its finest
I haven't seen this confirmed, but been told the same urine test was used in both drug tests - and failed on both occasions. So, he took 1 urine sample and it was tested twice. He was apparently provisionally banned for 6 days, which expired just before Madrid. Agree, it all feels very favoured towards him being number 1. It shouldn't take 5 months to be announced either.
@@DanRodenbyWhy they would retest the same sample eight days apart ?? 😂😂
@@michael8597 I read he only provided one urine test, but could be false news.
@@DanRodenby I don't see any logic in a sample retested after 8 days ?? And this one billion-ath of a gram theory was in first test or second test ??
@@michael8597 I don't understand it either. I read he provided one urine test, it was tested twice, and both were positive for having a billionth of a gram. I guess we'll see the facts come out over the coming weeks. Either way, it's not a good look and shouldn't take 5 months to come out.
He is geting preferential treatment. Why is it only revealed now? Even simona did not knowingly take it but we know how she was treated.
@@user-wd7ue1wd6r Agreed. This happened 5 months ago, players should’ve known about it before now.
@@DanRodenby Agreed what? I am sick and tired of everybody and their grandmas making videos on the subject without knowing and telling the complete story just to get the extra clicks and views. Halep took the substance HERSELF. She was not contaminated by someone else. So there was confirmed negligence from her side even if her intention was not doping. She did not properly check the medicament she was taking. How in the world can you compare these two completely different situations?
@@fabios.3510 I think all players deserve the same treatment when testing positive for a banned substance. Sinner’s two appeals were accepted within 6 days & its not become public knowledge for 5 months. I appreciate the Halep situation was more complex, but she served an immediate provisional suspension as have majority of other players. I agree Sinner is innocent & didn’t cheat. But I do believe he received preferential treatment because of his status & money he brings to the sport, which is wrong.
@@DanRodenby Sinner too got a provisional suspension but he immediately and successfully applied and the suspension was relieved. There had been tons of similar contamination cases with the same substance so it was easy to prove the good will. That wasn’t the case for Halep
Now we know why he did not participate at Olympics. The "illness".
All failed dopping test players should be banned. It is not a problem of good or bad intention to dope. It is a problem of the fairness of the game because the substance can improve performance. What about other honest players, too stupid to perform bad?
I see your point. I don’t think he should’ve been playing until the investigation was concluded & other players were informed. I don’t think it’s right that this happened 5 months ago & players are only finding out now.
Anyone who believs the finger cut steroid spray bullshit story must also believe in Santa Claus , or course the amount in his system was insignificant because most of it would have been out of his system by the time the test happened!!!,
The court accepted Halep's argument that she had taken a contaminated supplement, but ruled that the volume the player ingested could not have determined the concentration of roxadustat found in the positive sample," it said. Defects in her biological passport were another factor that tipped the court off to "probable doping."
Everybody mention Halep case but it was a different story.
Per Honest Sport's reporting articles available on Substack: 1) Closetbol was used by the Germans in the 1980s. 2) Italians have now been using it across their sports since the late 2010s to bolster athletes in their sport programs including tennis. 3) Nike has an alleged history across its sporting divisions whereby certain drug pushing coaches get linked up with certain athletes. 4) Drug testing remains a fraught process across tennis with over 100 athletes who failed doping tests not receiving punishment. 5) This is hardly Cahill's first connection to doping. Add it all up and what you get is the Sinner scandal.
Doping with less than 0, 000.000.001 of a gram of prohibided substance ??? Come onnnnnn
He still failed an anti-doping test, but I do think the level proves it wasn’t intentional or performing enhancing.
That small amount is left over. We will never know initial amount. That is a problem.
This drug can clear your system within 24 hours. By the time he was tested, he would have got the use out of it he needed and trace elements remain. He was just lucky with the timing of the test.
Stop ! Jannik is innocent. It's clear. What is problem?
I said I think he’s innocent, but it doesn’t it make it right to fail 2 drug tests. World class athletes should not be failing any drug test, they have a duty to know exactly what is going into their body.
@@DanRodenbyit was taken from the same sample of urin, but sent in 2 different lab test after 1 week
Gracias.
Do you have any morals or values?
This is sus... not a good look.
Certainly not. I can understand people questioning it & expecting a ban. No professional athlete should fail 2 anti-doping tests, always going to have that cloud over him now.
Indeed@@DanRodenby
He is not stupid. I agree with the decision
Wow! Not what I was expecting to hear today no matter the circumstances.
Shocking! Terrible look for tennis.
I guess the question is: Would Sinner have avoided a provisional suspension if he was ranked 300? Personally, if a player fails an anti-doping test, they shouldn't be playing until the investigation is concluded & they are cleared or have served a ban.
@@DanRodenby Agree!
Well there is another Italian player . That is not top100 not even sure if top250 because I can even remember his name. He had almost the same case with the same sustance on a cream that is sell in all drug stores in Italy and he was also absolved without suspension. Maybe you are making a big deal about ir just because is Sinner
@@susanamontoyajaramillo4579 I have heard about this since recording, I completely believe Sinner is innocent. It’s just not a good look for tennis & shouldn’t happen.
@@susanamontoyajaramillo4579 It's a common excuse with many Italian tennis players. If anything it makes it more suspicious.
Simona Haler was banned for few years. This man became number 1. It is nothing. It all about other people. How do you know he is innocent.Probably you are Italian. He should not play at Miami after this not alowing him to win title. Sharapova was also suspended. You have to be from Eastern Europe to be banned. This is shame for sport. How do you know that he had not dopping at AO. I think he started with that at autumn last year when he suddenly become superman. Before that he can not beat Zverev, Mevedev, not to mention Djokovic and Alcaraz.
He has tested positive for having less than a billionth of a gram in his system - that is so miniscule it would have zero impact on playing performance + we have to believe he was contaminated by his physio. Do I think it's okay for him to fail drug tests? No. Do I think he's innocent? Yes.
@@DanRodenbyHe is innocent because you are his fan. Who cares how many banned substance he had in his body.He broke the rule and other people hide that till now 6 months later. Why did not they say immediately.Because he would not play Miami and would not be number one. We are talking about world number one doping here. It is very important to tell.
Thx for the work
Thank you for watching, much appreciated!
you said it all.......there is nothing more to say
The serbs Are different then the américains we serbs we are marginal
This prediction aged real well..NOT
Thankfully - I'm a huge Djokovic fan - just after the knee surgery and way Alcaraz beat him at Wimbledon - I didn't think Djokovic would be physically able to stand with Alcaraz. I think Djokovic's level shocked everyone, but that's why he's the greatest ever.
These things are hard to predict, but when Djokovic lost in the Wimbledon final plus the way he was beaten, all signs pointed to an inevitable tsunami in the horizon.
Completely agree - I think Alcaraz was shocked at Djokovic's level - he was a completely different player to the one he played at Wimbledon.

Hey Dan glad we both got to see our favorite player win gold. It was really great to watch this match. Almost everyone wrote Novak off and had him losing this match. What a thrashing. novak should definitely consider retirement after next year. He will start to tarnish his legacy as the years go by and he loses more and more to these new kids. He may get lucky if sinner or alcaraz lose in a slam before he has to face them, but who knows.
