I wish I had Mr. Marks, but I had his wife as a teacher in elementary school, and I was in 4 grade when they retired and I'm in 10th grade now with the new chorus teacher. She is ok but she's not great ether.

first of all you guys did this very VERY well. I performed this same peice with my chorus and I'll tell ya it was a chore to get us to sway, clap, AND sing at the same time. So my kudos to you, I heard almost nothing wrong with this. My criticism is you have a soprano that has no clue as to how to blend. Or she is dictinct and was close to the mic. Anyway, bravo from a guy you don't know, who knows this peice

This wasn't a theatrical production, it was a chorus concert. We're not supposed to be expressive, other than the pleasant while we're not singing. Singing and smiling don't really work hand in hand.
