I witnessed very strange lightning in Boise in October of '22. I was looking out my window around 2 am in Eagle, ID, Looking east toward Boise. There were scattered thunderstorms. I saw a very strange lightning bolt come straight down out of a cloud and make a vibrating noise unlike any sizzle and boom from a lightning bolt I've ever heard. It was like a laser beam and it pulsed or vibrated. There was no boom. Just an electronic sound and a vibration that lasted for about a second. I don't know what the target was, but it was not natural lightning. I'm no longer in Idaho.
