Hello, and welcome to my TH-cam channel! I have been making TH-cam videos for a while now, and most of the content here is based on my love for video games. I have been a gamer for as long as I can remember and love almost everything about them. I have a random assortment of videos alongside my video game-related content on the channel. I am trying to improve my quality as I go. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the videos!

What a game.. truly exceptional quality, top tier video game.
I loved it! What a ride 🔥
Man, such a good game that was ahead of time. I remember one summer in the early 2000s where I played this game and beat it many times non-stop. I'm so happy to see people get into the series. MGS2 for me personally is the best out of the whole series (even though it seems most people prefer MGS3). Thank you for the video!
What an incredible game! I know a few people who adore this game over the other entries in the series. It’s a great time, especially with all the twists and turns throughout! Thank you so much for watching the video.
🥸 pliskin
Thanks for the video. I’m very exited!
I am excited to see what they come up with for the new console! Thank you so much for watching.
@@TheWenzinator The most thing I'm hyped for is a new 3D Mario game
@BeardedMana That would be awesome! I’m pumped for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. I Cannot wait for that one!
@@TheWenzinator I want to be hyped MP4:B but I never played a Metroid game. lol Hopefully I'll do a Metroid marathon one day and join the club
I like this type of videos because I get to discover games I didn’t know about, like Steam World Heist in this instance. So thanks for the video. For my top 3 games that I remember off the top of my head, it’s gotta be 1. Zelda Echoes of Wisdom 2. Animal Well 3. Astro Bot. I can totally see your top spot being Astro Bot. It’s such a great game 👌 Happy new year, and here’s to more cool videos about your opinions of games you’re playing 👍
Thank you so much for watching! I love making these videos and look forward to seeing what gets included at the end of the year. I love your top games. I completely forgot to get around to Zelda this year; hopefully, soon, I can get to that one! Astro Bot is AMAZING, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about Animal Well (I currently have it installed on my PS5) Thank you again for checking out my videos. I appreciate the feedback. Happy New Year!
Looks cool. Would love to get one, but unfortunately I don’t use PS5 enough to justify the purchase. I get the non-exclusives on Steam if possible.
I love that Steam is finally getting PlayStation games!!!
Chi chi is the real hero
For sure 🤣
You haven’t seen anything yet
Cool episode! I’ve always wanted to become rich and go back to one of those arcades and actually beat the game 😂 I guess I can do that at home. lol
That’s the beauty of some of these arcade games at home. Now, you can spend your money on the game and finally see it through! I still love playing at the arcade, though; it never gets old 😂 Thank you for watching the video!!!!
welcome to my recommended page, loved the review, definitely dropping a sub
Thank you so much for watching the video!!!
Great review, dude. I love the emphasis on the considerable psychological impact and heavy themes, the awkward characters and interactions. Also, there're many words with similar meaning that perfectly describes this game, for instance unease, disturbing, bone chilling, uncomfortable etc... And you pretty much mention them all to really hammer the point home and it really does need to be said in a proper review IMO 👌 I remember I felt those exact feelings throughout my whole journey with this game, almost to the point you don't WANT to play it (just like you said) but I was just so invested in it's atmosphere I couldn't stop, was forced to when I got stuck though and those moments almost felt like a relief tbh 😅 ...but yeah it's really a fascinating and weird behavior, almost masochistic lol 😓 Being a hardcore fan since it's release back in the day chances are I've already heard about those fan theories, but I haven't been that active in the forums and stuff the latest decade or so, so I'd be happy to hear 'em again in that case, give it to me dude 🤓
WOW! Thank you so much for this comment! Silent Hill 2 troubled me with making a proper video to articulate my feelings about this game. This comment means so much. Silent Hill 2 was quite the experience, and seeing the remake getting great reviews early has me very excited about it! As for the Theory for the beginning of the game (For anyone glancing at this comment) ****SPOILERS**** The one theory was at the beginning of the game, James is in a psychosis state, and Mary's body is actually in the back seat (or trunk) of his car. This is WILD to me and added another level of creepiness when I came across this. I'm curious if the remake would nod to this or what have you.
Iv also never played it. Do you think I need to play the first one before I dive into the second? Iv owned them both for maybe 15 years and haven’t booted them up yet!
Silent Hill 2 is entirely separate from the first game. You can dive right in! Enjoy it! Thank you for watching the video!
You look about 12, your not old enough to miss the PlayStation
He literally said he grew up with the PS3. Sure he didn’t grow up with PS1 or PS2 but Sony is so far removed from the company they used to be 15 years ago so his point still stands.
Nearly 30 guy
I grew up with the PS1 and PS2, but the PS3 was an essential console that had me look at gaming differently. My first system was a PS1
Art books are cool.
Thank you for watching!
You should play this game co-op with your girlfriend!
I will make it happen!
And iiiiii helped
Your girlfriend would also like to play this game co-op with you
I never knew you hadn't played this until now. How did you end up playing this?
I got the MGS vol.1 collection! It played great! I do have it on PS1 aswell, but I can’t argue playing it on the Steam Deck.
@TheWenzinator steam deck was made for early MGS! My first was on the PS3 with the first big Metal Gear collection. One of the best to come out of that HD Remake trend imo
@anythingbutted apparently it runs phantom pain amazingly too. I can’t wait to see it!
@anythingbutted I actually vividly remember watching you play Snake Easter and getting that collection!
@TheWenzinator Omg I played that entire game with the tranq gun just to lose the trophy for using a turret in the car chase scene. I was stuck in a death loop, and the tranq didn't have enough range. One of my biggest gaming regrets
As someone who grew playing the franchise from MGS to MGS5, this is one of the best game series of all time. Anybody can see how the MGS specifically was way ahead of its time. I’m glad that people still get into it to this day. Enjoy the series. And thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for watching the video! I cannot wait to play the rest of the series! MGS1 was terrific in almost every way.
@@TheWenzinator please tell me that you have or you will play the MSX games. Their story is a prerequisite for MGS story
@BeardedMana is this the Original Metal Gear games???
@@TheWenzinator yes sir. Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, these two came out before Metal Gear Solid
@BeardedMana I have them, I am also going to check these out! Thankfully they are a part of the collection.
Best franchise EVER
It’s AWESOME!!!
I picked up a clear shell Gameboy Pocket and Pokemon Yellow and its the most fun ive ever had with a handheld
I love hearing this! Thank you so much for watching the video.
I tried their grip for the Steam Deck and initially thought it was comfortable, but after 15 minutes, my fingers started to feel tired, like holding a heavy, wide water bottle for a long time. Even though my fingers are extremely long, this grip definitely won't suit everyone
Definitely! I’ve tried some grips for other devices that were praised and I didn’t like how they fit in the hand. Everyone has different preferences. Thank you for watching the video!
I always wanted to get in that series! It looks awesome
It’s worth it! Thanks for watching the video!!! 😄
Do it!!! My favorite is 3, but they're all wonderful games for their own reasons. All 4 can be bought on Switch now, too!
Happy birthday!
I am The Grass Man and this mf loves Donkey Kong
Love to hear it! Thank you so much for watching
Happy Birthday! I too love Donkey Kong. Some of the fondest memories of video games in my life. Could not beat King K. Rool in DKC2 as a 5 year old kid. Glad i could say i beat it recently as an adult. Life achievement unlocked!
Thank you! I'm so happy you were able to beat King K Rool recently! Thank you so much for watching the video!
Awesome!
Thank you for watching!!!! 😁
I was really nervous on the Final Shape as Lightfall wasn’t great, but the raid was probably the redeeming quality for me. Been playing since D1 and only break I have taken has been between D1 and D2 release. I think 2025 and Frontiers is something to look forward to, rumours of a potential D3? Love Final Shape and the way they ended the light and dark saga. My only annoyance has been I’ve never had a steady clan, each one I have joined or made has fallen apart because ultimately people have left the game. Hoping to find a regular clan I can do the raid triumphs and GMs with instead of LFGing 😅
I’m in the same boat! I haven’t had a proper group either, but the game is still fun when you can wrangle a few people together. Thank you for watching!!!
I want new switch and animal crossssssing
New Switch!!!
I just finished Pokémon Yellow on my Gameboy Color Atomic Purple a few weeks ago and Pokémon Crystal last year. It feels wonderful to play on the Gameboy Color again.
It sure does! I'm glad you’re also enjoying it as well thank you for watching the video!
Honestly as a kid that never got into Pokemon until 2011 I can say that delta emulator has helped me a lot. Never really had a lot of incentive to play Red or Blue since all the newer games have nicer graphics but man trying it out for the first time I can see why so many people loved it. It’s still fun to this day that’s crazy
Pokémon captured my attention almost immediately, and at the time the original show, the first movie, and card sets were coming around, it was amazing to even be a part of it at that age. I'm glad you can still see some of the originals' charm, especially after the GBA and Let's Go versions. Thank you so much for watching!
@@TheWenzinator of course bro,no yea I’ve always been into retro stuff even though I was born after most of it in 2001. I love the charm older games have like you said it. Hope you make another video like this man I liked it
@StayMadLmfao Stay tuned! There's always something being worked on. Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Back when things were simple. You only needed a couple of games with you and they would be enjoyed for months. It's a reason why I avoid emulators because opening up yourself to the whole library of games right away doesn't let you appreciate them. Great video man. Keep it up!
Well said! I love what you mentioned about emulators. It’s spot on. I miss the simpler times of burning time in Pokemon and exploring every area, making these old Gameboy games last the test of time. Thank you for watching the video and leaving a comment!
YES!!!! I basically went all out with emulation from PSP and under (including DS) and it ruined my experience since I can't play games like I used to. Before it was like "well the game isn't as good but that's all I have" and had a blast. Now that I have 300+ games it just is like "this game kind of sucks Idk why I got it but I'll keep it to play it later" (and end up not playing anything or the same game over and over) Honestly it's crazy how looking for new games in hidden gems videos or just basing myself on the art work of the game it's the funnest part of "playing" retro games
Spot on here. I feel the same way. It was amazing to have all these games I wanted as a kid to have in a library and playable, but it killed me when I got the same feeling of burnout with having all the games and not buying them or searching for them it felt soulless in a way.
Modded mine with a new led screen, best decision ever.
I’m planning on it! Seems to be a smart move! Thank you for watching!
Just finished playing Pokémon Red on a GB colour and I have to say it still holds up well 25 years later.
Right?! I love that form factor! Thank you for watching!
Our first GBC in the house was a purple one. I remember one day my little sister didn’t know any better and decided to clean it by giving it a bath 🤦♂️😂. I don’t remember owning another Game Boy until the Game Boy Advance SP 😁
Love this story lol The Gameboy SP was incredible for its time!!!
I have 2 Windows Handhelds, a Switch, a SteamDeck, and some small Android/Linux emulator devices. Handheld gaming has come to stay, I can't say anymore this is a passing fad. Only a few titles will be better on a couch or at your desktop PC. But anything else is better kept portable. Many of us are now having more responsibilities in life and can't dedicate more time to static gaming. I feel this was the evolution that the industry desperately needed. Not graphics or power, but portability.
THIS! Well said! Everything you touch on here is spot on! Long live portable gaming! Thanks for checking out the video 🔥🙌🏻
Portable is the new way to go. with people downsizing housing and budgets it just fits better. Plus the downfall of physical games makes stationary consoles moot.
Yeah! Portable gaming is the future!!!
I love portable gaming, but I do have lines I draw on what I play on portable. In fact, I have a folder on my steam specifically for when I get a steam deck. Some games are better on a portable device, but others are better at the desk with a keyboard and mouse
For sure! If we can finally get a perfect medium for gaming on the go with fidelity and frame rate, I’m here for it. I love the idea of gaming portability. It’s incredible. I do love my FPS on a mouse and keyboard, as well as some other titles like Diablo and such 🔥🔥🔥
Ebay has been a life saver for almost everything recently. I've been window shopping some steelbooks for my favorite movies. 15 to 30 bucks for almost everything I wishlisted
Yeah! Unfortunately, these are the places we are going to rely on for these types of things.
I recently started considering collecting movies and TV. I live in the middle east. I believe it's much more difficult to find them compared to where you live. Enjoy it while it lasts! 😄
It’s a fun hobby, but it just got a lot harder. The physical disc in a Blu-ray player has an incredible image compared to streaming.
Thank you for checking out the video!
Switch 2 should come in fun colors like the n64
I never considered video game soundtracks on Vinyl. Such a cool idea
It’s one of my favorite things when I have the chance to get one of my favorite games or movies on vinyl. There’s still so many for me out there.
I love mine. The only complaint I have is that it's really hard to reach either of the bumpers with the case on. I've just remapped them to the L4 & R4 but it seems like it'd be worth mentioning in a review.
Glad you’re enjoying it! I didn’t see it being that big of a problem for me personally but I could see that being an issue for some. Thank you for watching!
Problem is, they want a perpetual MMO income from a single player game effort. Despite taking as long as it did, SS COULD have been made in 2-3 years and much less than 100 million. It's a shallow game that is just nonstop pew pew pew, and mediocre pew pew pew at that. Now, if they were talking about TRULY creating a Hogwarts world where you could go to classes at hogwarts, grow plants and breed animals to sell to other players, go on narrative adventures with other players, and have shared narrative content on at least a seasonal basis, that WOULD be appealing. But no, what they WOULD create is basically what SS is, except with wands. All the cool outfits would be in the MT store. "Crafting" would be going to vendors with your "materials"(currency). And I don't know about anyone else, but to me that sounds awful and would be a detriment to the brand. You get most of that in the M@H mobile game, except that's free.
Well said! Thank you for checking out the video. You have some great points here. I can't believe the turnout of games this generation. We were firing on all cylinders a few generations ago, getting huge titles within maybe 2 to 3 years.
@@TheWenzinator Well we have gotten some good games, just not from AAA companies. I'll let some things slide due to covid, but covid didn't tell Rocksteady to homogenize DC characters into bouncy human turrets. And don't get me started on S&B... these are totally unforced errors. All I know is that Rocksteady, Ubisoft in general, and Bethesda are off my radar. They were responsible for some of my favorite games in the past, but that's not who they are, anymore. Either others step up and take their place, or I'll be forced to go outside, and NOBODY wants that. ;)
I agree with you 100%. But Helldiver 2 solved all the problems. it is inexpensive. it is base on skill. it has minimum grinding. it has non toxic non competition environment.
HellDivers 2 is doing the right thing I’m loving that game!
We can only hope and dream, but at the end of the day money talks. If companies are making enough money, they'll keep doing it. We gotta vote with our dollars. That's why I really really appreciate indie games, and good quality single player games (like Nintendo's).
THIS! I have found so much life, and character out of indie games within the last ten years. So many creative ideas ,and visions not to also mention genuinely fun too!
I didn't know that suicide squad was a live service game. The only defense I have for live service games in general is Helldivers 2. Their using the live service model as a way to tell a story of the world changing that you get to experience as an early player of the game. This quality feeling that the game gives is mostly due to this "Game Master" dude being able to change things on the fly. Outside of this though I am fearful for the rest of the live service games they plan on pumping out in the next year or two (and yes helldivers is part of that wave). I do have to say that the last couple years have shown a lot of progress with players speaking out about these get rich quick development model that far cry popularized as just not being enough. With Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate, Palworld, etc. There are so many great games coming out that are blowing up and staying up there. Heck I just beat lies of P the other day. WOW! The amount of care these smaller dev companies are putting into games are being recognized and calling attention to the big EA Ubisofts doing not enough for the money they give them.
Smaller more independent games are doing so well these days and I’m here for it! I love the passion and various artstyle and gameplay choices devs make. HellDivers 2 is an exceptional example of a live service game done well I am really enjoying my time with that game!
Sony asked destiny devs to review the last of us factions in terms of longevity and they felt it's business model wouldnt make enough money (not enough focus on paid for cosmetics ect). The game was then delayed and shortly after cancelled 🙄
Exactly! It’s a shame.
Love the content buddy keep it up
I appreciate it! Thank you for watching, man!
I mostly care about having access to my media for as long as possible. For video games I look to get them on PC if I can, so currently Steam is my best bet because computers will forever (hopefully) run or be able to run old software, and Steam doesn't look like it's going anywhere. If a game is console-exclusive, then I would get a physical copy for that game on the most accessible console.
That is well said. I love the idea of physical media, but most games these days do, thankfully, end up on PC. I like your aspect of buying physical exclusives!
