Regarding the emergence of Annatar from the forge, you were one of the few reactors to catch that Annatar remained dark while it was bright around him. However, you seemed to fail to notice that the imagery was very reminiscent of how Jesus was portrayed in renaissance paintings, which is what most people notice straightaway. The vision of light bathing the figure is supposed to bring out feeling of holiness... (although it never truly lights up the figure of Annatar)

When the one ring was destroyed, Sauron was not destroyed with it, at least not his immortal spirit. However, he lost his physical body, and he had sunk so much of his own power into the making of the one ring, that he was left with such little power that he would never be able to take a physical form again.

The actor for Adar left after the first season, so it was indeed a new actor. He's a bit different, but just as good in his own way...

Hi nice to see to you and in S2 😊 yeh I think Sauron is evil all the way through and how cool was it seeing him reform a physical body, And yeh in S1 ep8 Galadriel tells Elrond and Celebrimbor to not treat with Halbrand. I liked the way they did that with Sauron's blood because it's pretty important in the lore haha. When we see Gandalf talk about his bringing back to life it's completely different isn't it 😂. Oh imo Sauron wanted to make 2 Rings and Galadriel changes the plan and they make 3. What if he doesn't know that 3 are made rn might sound like a dumb question but I'm not sure, we see the transition to his eye but does he see visions like the Stranger?

No. Sauron did not want to destroy everything. His boss, Morgoth, wanted to destroy everything. Sauron loved Middle Earth. He wanted to shape it to his liking and then control all of it. And no, Sauron wasn't pure evil. He was corrupted by Morgoth. Tolkien says that after Morgoth's defeat, Sauron repented. He was told he had to return to Valinor and face judgement by the Valar, but he was too scared to do that. So, he remained in Middle Earth. Tolkien says he then fell back into evil. I love your reactions! Can't wait for you to see Season 2. It is so much better than Season 1!

About Powder, I think she was not aware about Silco, exactly, she saw her sister fightning against a monster, that made her try act. Loved the reaction! Hope you like this series!

Important thing that no one seems to pick up on: The room that Vander was locked in was on the second floor. The hole that Claggor broke in the wall was 20 or more feet above the ground. They had no rope or anything like that to climb down. So they actually could not have escaped without breaking their legs, and certainly not in time to escape a juiced-up Deckard. Vander, on his own, would not have been able to fend off Deckard, while the kids escaped, since there would have been other henchman of Silco to contend with. The only way they could have escaped is the way that they did escape. What happened as a result of Powder's monkey bomb was pure happenstance. Could Mylo and Claggor have survived? Yes, if they had just so happened to not get fatally hit by debris from the explosion (e.g., they were hit, but were wounded and not killed, like Vi and Vander).

I love how many of Arcane's scenes can be open to multiple interpretations. For me, when Vi is lying helpless under the steel door and sees the head of Powder's monkey bomb on the floor after the explostion(s), what she is thinking at that moment, imo, is not that she came to the realization that Powder caused the explosion but that Powder was there, in spite of telling her to stay away and that she was also killed in the explosion. What Vi knows at this point is A) Powder is clingy and has separation anxiety and that following them is something Powder would potentially do. This was Vi's worst fear. B) Powder's bombs never work and is inconceivable that Powder's bombs could wreak such devastation. It needs to be pointed out that Vi doesn't know what caused the explosion in the apartment workshop they robbed in Episode 1. Powder, herself, only just made the connection between the crystals and the explosion right before leaving to help Vi and the gang save Vander. It seems very implausible that Vi would come to the conclusion that Powder's bomb would be the cause of said explosions.

So glad uve finished S1 so you can join me in S2 😂👏🏼 there was a time when Sauron repented and seeked forgiveness from the Valar after Morgoth fell and I guess they did it so we could speculate if he was good or evil and be decieved like everyone else will be. Most said he'd be Witch King until ep7 when they leaked that we've been with Sauron all season.

Powder doesn’t know who Silco is. She couldn’t see him from the hole in the wall.

Powder didn't see most of what was happening inside the factory. She never saw Silco before, and Vi was hiding most things from her. Add to that, separation anxiety she developed after their parents were murdered, and you get a recipe for disaster.

Couple of things to clear up, Powder was smiling while falling because her bomb worked...she didnt see how the explosion entered the room with Vi, Vander and the boys so she didnt know the outcome until she saw Clagor's bloody goggles on the ground. The next thing is why Powder hugged Silco even though he's the one who was attempting to kill her family. She hugged him because she doesnt know who he is. Powder wasn't there until after Vander was stabbed and fell off of the bridge. Silco was on the other side of the bridge opposite of where Powder was. She hugged him because she has severe attachment issues and her only lifeline just hit her and walked away. Powder would cling to anyone who showed even the slightest interest in her at that point. Silco can relate to Powder because he always felt betrayed by his "brother" Vander, which is why he's looking over at Vander's body when Powder said that Vi is NOT her sister anymore.

Such an emotional episode!

Just FYI - while all the explosions were happening, we saw that a certain evil scientist was... singed by the fire.

Betty was unfrozen before Hank (she was Overseer before he was) so she's older than he is in the Vault by more than she is in Barb's office!

I wouldn't worry too much about trying to predict what's going to happen and when. Just enjoy the ride.

Good reaction. It's not talked about in the show, but the writers have said that Viktor managed to pass himself off as someone from Piltover until he caught Himerdinger's eye. Now he's Himerdinger's assistant, which gives him enough protection that he can speak openly about his origins. Nice reaction. Looking forward to the next episode.

Elros and Elrond were brothers, but they are/were both half-elven (descended from both Beren, the human who married Lúthien daughter of Thingol king of Doriath and Melian the Maia, and Tuor, the human who married Idril Celebrindal daughter of Turgon king of Gondolin). As such, and because of their father Eärendil's role in the defeat of Morgoth, they were given the choice of whether to be counted as Elves or Men, and Elros chose the fate of Men, so he is now long since dead of old age. Elrond chose the fate of the Elves, so he is just as immortal as any other elf. (I don't recall how much of this the show is allowed to tell. The show specifically does _not_ have the rights to use any material from the Silmarillion, the only sources it can use are the appendices to LotR and the various historical tales and references used directly in LotR and the Hobbit.) When pronouncing Elvish names, remember that "C" is always pronounced as "K".

Look back at the ending credits... this is a show that requires a second watch to help clarify some issues not all though

It's not about not wanting to breathe the same air. Enforcers wear gas masks because the air in the Lanes is really polluted. Not immediately deadly, but the longer you breathe it, the higher is risk of getting some kinds of lung disease. The water is even worse - that is why when the bag of loot went into the river, Vi said "The stuff is gone".

I heard several times that the only music that gets copyrighted is the intro song. BTW, all music in this show (including intro) was written specifiaclly for this show.

By the end of the next episode your gonna feel like your in Middle-earth truly it blew everyone's minds.
