The video will show about how I brew my coffee with this method with slightly different waiting time between each pours. I hope you enjoy the video and find it useful. Thanks for the video, I do 30g of coffee (1/16 ratio) and I never get it to brew in 3 minutes, always take me 4, I though I was doing it wrong

      Sorry for the late reply 🙏🏻 You're welcome, and it's okay to brew a little bit longer since you used more coffee and different ratio, the point of this 4:6 method is you can easily adjust any part of the brewing process to get the best result of the coffee that you like. Have a great coffee :-)

    Weird bro I did it a few moments ago and I have first some acid punch then fades back to the bitterness of coffee, like a kind of transition, IDK if this is the meaning of balanced but I'm loving it!!!!!!!!!!

    • @hobby_coffee
      @hobby_coffee 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well done 👍🏻😃 This balanced version is to get the sweetness at the beginning (a bit like candy) and followed by nice acidity and then bitter hint at the end. You can play with water temps or grind size (one at a time) to get the result that you prefer.

    4:6 คือไรครับ เอามาให้ทำใบงาน

    • @hobby_coffee
      @hobby_coffee 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, sorry for late reply 🙏🏻 So 4:6 is the method developed by Mr. Tetsu Kasuya by dividing the total brew into 2 parts, the first part is "4" and the second part is "6". The "4" part is to control sweetness and acidity, it's done by dividing the "4" into another 2 parts. The first part is for the blooming process, and the second part is the first pour. The "6" part is to control the overall brew strength, if you want stronger coffee you can divide the "6" into more part (2, 2, 2), or if you want less strong coffee you can divide the "6" into less part (3, 3). In the video the total brew was 300 mL, so the "4" part is 120 mL and the "6" part is 180 mL. For the balanced result the easiest way is to divide each part into the same amount, so the blooming process and the first pour will be 60 mL each(120 divided by 2), and the second pour until the last pour also 60 mL each (180 divided by 3). Hope that helps, and thanks for watching. Have a great coffee 😁

    c2 titinuam or c3?

    • @hobby_coffee
      @hobby_coffee 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, sorry for the late reply... The C2 with Titanium coated burr is slightly better for grinding light roasted beans than the regular C3, but for the grind result and the coffee taste there are no significant differences. I would recommend the new C3S because of the full Allumunium body and better knob & click adjuster material.

    Nice, the grind size could be a little coarser though.

    • @hobby_coffee
      @hobby_coffee 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you 😁 and yes the grind size can be adjusted based on the roast level of the coffee beans.

    Great video, and really nice to see C2 being used since I have the same one! You mentioned 20 clicks - just wanting to clarify if that is 20 clicks from burrs closed, or burrs fully opened?

    Hi mate, I see in your video that you use a Timemore Chestnut C2 Titanium version, am I right? Just wonder, is it still good to use until now? I am thinking to buy it since it has a lowest price than the Timemore Chestnut C3.

    • @hobby_coffee
      @hobby_coffee ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, sorry for late reply, yes the C2 on this video is the version with titanium burr and I'm still using it mostly for pour over and sometimes also for mokapot. Compared to the C3, the Timemore C3 have slightly better uniformity but also produce a bit more fines than the C2, and for the taste there are no significant difference between C3 and C2.

    buat giling espresso bisa di berapa klik?

    • @hobby_coffee
      @hobby_coffee 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kalo pertanyaannya bisa atau tidak, jawabannya bisa, di buku panduannya untuk giling espresso mulai dari 14 klik sampai 10 klik. Untuk hasil gilingan 10 klik udah cukup halus mendekati garam meja dan kemungkinan bisa untuk mesin manual espresso atau mesin espresso semi otomatis yang pake pressurized portafilter. Untuk yg versi burr titanium ini bisa "dipaksa" untuk giling lebih halus lagi sampai 8 klik, tapi butuh waktu yg lumayan lama, pengalaman saya giling 20gram biji kopi di 8 klik itu butuh waktu sampai 5 menit 😁

    Kalau di compare dgn C2 stainless steel hasilnya untuk konsisten gilingan sama rasa kopinya gmn gan

    • @hobby_coffee
      @hobby_coffee 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Terima kasih udah mampir 🙏🏻😁 Untuk hasil gilingan & konsistensinya dibanding dengan burr yang stainless ngga jauh beda Gan (baik gilingan halus atau kasar). Kelebihan burr yg titanium coated ini setting gilingannya bisa sedikit lebih halus (di 8 klik) dari yg direkomendasikan sama Timemore (10 klik).

    • @hobby_coffee
      @hobby_coffee 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anistoona Untuk waktu gilingnya relatif Bro, maksudnya tergantung seberapa cepat & kuat tangan orangnya, hanya saja karena burr versi titanium coated punya tingkat kekerasan lebih tinggi dibanding yang stainless steel, proses ngegilingnya kerasa lebih solid 😁.
