I think Chris Chan has what might be the first case of dissociative identity disorder this late in life. It’s usually formed by early childhood trauma when the brain hasn’t developed enough to be one complete personality, causing it to split into many different ‘people’ and never combine into just one. I think Chris has been through so much that it split his already severely autistic brain into separate personalities as a coping mechanism for something so traumatic to him.
