​@@sashagay308 Thanks so much, that's very kind of you. If you don't mind me asking, did you choose Iberostar because you knew they'd cater well to a vegan diet/lifestyle? I know that for us, as we've done some research of the resorts in Jamaica, Iberostar's restaurant menus have vegan options that many other's do not.

@ To be honest, I didn't choose the Iberostar Selection because of the vegan options. As a Jamaican, I knew I would have plenty of great choices for my diet. My husband and I were curious about the hotel, and a friend recommended it to us. We ended up having a wonderful time there.

I completely get that, sometimes the worn down tips have their own feel, but the scratches are a bummer!

@Spoon575 I agree, I'm feeling hungry too while editing this. The food comes from Miami, Jamaica, Barbados, Atlanta, GA, and a few home-cooked meals.
