Camden's Hawley Wharf 🇬🇧
• LONDON, UK in 4K: Visiting the main markets of Camden: switching to the other side of Camden High Street and the newer Hawley Wharf development.
Featuring archway artwork by David Shillinglaw.
"Camden Lock Village was the section along the canal to the east of Chalk Farm Road and was known as the Canal Market and had a covered entrance tunnel leading into a general outdoor market. The market was devastated by fire on 9 February 2008 caused by unauthorised use of a liquified petroleum gas heater. After crossing the railway line, the fire badly damaged the rear of the Hawley Arms on Castlehaven Road. The market reopened in May 2009 as the Camden Lock Village. The cover over the original street entrance was removed, and a new entrance was created near the railway bridge.
The market closed in early 2015, to be redeveloped over several years as Hawley Wharf. The stalls were replaced by a four-storey covered structure, with units housing sixty fast-food providers, 150 shops, and co-working offices. The development also provided 200 homes. Hawley Wharf's sites started opening in 2021."
Nearest tube: Camden Town (Northern line).
Nearest Overground: Kentish Town.

• LONDON, UK in 4K: Just down from St. Paul's Cathedral on Ludgate Hill and only confirmed a couple of hours before, there was a new Banksy in town. This was the seventh (of nine) animal-themed artworks discovered on consecutive days around London. This Police sentry box was covered in piranha fish. This was Sunday and was removed to protect the art the following day. Follow me on Instagram: in...

Athens Angus Burger: an Appreciation 🇬🇷
Whoa, crowded but peaceful. ❤😊
Loved the rooftop cafe!
What is that, some sought of photo game?
Flash Invaders app
At 1:32. Is it the bikes that are the problem, or pedestrians not crossing at designated pedestrian’s crossings ? 🤷🏻♂️😉
Yes it is, normality restored
Is London more peaceful now? With the protests/riots all happening last two weeks?
Αγάπη Ελλάδα ❤❤❤
For an Athens visit would you recommend staying at Edem as opposed to the city centre ? Thanks , very informative.
I would. Very easy to get to the sites in the centre as transport's very convenient. ( tram, buses). Enjoy!
Lived there for 13 years! ❤❤
F Cooke and Sons on Hoxton High Street, all about the pie and mash 😋
Whenever I travel to London I arrive in Liverpool Street. I'll often walk over to Spitalfields, then Brick Lane, Up Market, Truman Brewery Market, and into the gentrified Shoreditch and Box Park area. The next time I visit I'm treating myself to a meal at St Johns, although I don't know whether to visit the original restaurant near Smithfield or St John Bread & wine out front of Spitalfields.
Really good content ❤️ i can help you to grow your channel. Send me an email.
Merci pour cette belle vidéo ! :)
Merci beaucoup ❤
Stunning, how exactly did you do that thing with getting the points in the scan? I didn't understand, is it an app? What exactly is it?
FlashInvaders app free from an app store near you. It should come with a health warning though as it is addictive 👾
@@alanrgilbert Thank you
Excellent London videos Alan, there’s so much to do and see in every area ,went to the O2 in October for a Madonna concert and couldn’t understand how to get over the Thames from where I was staying ,should of took the Uber boat 😄
Yh the clippers can help out big style 👍
We❤ Evzones!!! They are the best!!!!
Thanks for posting - I wanted to get a feel for the Pigneto quartiere and this was great!
Cool
Very helpful video thanks. So did you say there were two T6 trams? How do you know which one goes to Edem? Thanks.
T6 connects Syntagma with Pikrodafni station, which is just one stop down from Edem on the coast ( I got off at Mousson, the stop before Edem). The T7 connects Voula (the south east edge of the 'Athens riviera') with Piraeus (north west of Athens). The T7 is the coastal tram, to get to the coast from Athens centre you need the T6 (at time of writing)..hope this helps 👌
@@alanrgilbert thanks!
To be honest, like Americans or English, only two idiotic people, who say a map😅, like most Americans, idiots who massacre civilians in the 3rd world, and at home, among gordos, FENTANILO, vagabundos, why does it exist? Italy is the 2nd largest European industry and exporter, leader in everything and we don't need ambulances 😅😅 nor do the English die in the shadows, London is not as miserable as the rest of the United Kingdom.
Worst camera work I have ever seen on Utube , get your act together , stop making us sick 😫 🤢🤮☹️👎
👏👏👏👏☦️☦️☦️💙💙💙🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷👍👍👍
New sub... looks good and nice vid keep on going !
Cheers 🤓
Looks really nice

Good to see Upmarket still going strong. Lots of great food in the area, but not the curry houses, I prefer "desi" Indian food rather than British Indian.
Desi just means 'local' or 'home made'
Southall and Tooting are a better bet...I haven't been to Brick Lane for a curry in 20 years so i can't comment, but I wasn't a fan back then.
correct. It's also used loosely to differentiate between traditional/authentic Indian cuisine and British Indian cuisine. @@annother3350
Southall is amazing, and Harrow. Birmingham and Leicester have excellent food if you know where to go. I'm not a fan of BIR so like you avoid Brick Lane @@zivkovicable
1st!
X95 bus cheaper 6euros
1st!
The entrance to the Atlantis Condominium also appears in the movie Scarface as the entrance to Frank Lopez's house.
When you got into the bus you just show it to the bus driver? Don't you have to validate it?
I Was there once few years ago.. Very impressive..Good Show👍
Nice one Alan, thanks for sharing.

nice video! I laughed when that lady swooped in and stole your seat on the tram at the end !!
The shoes they are wearing are called tsarouchia and are extremely slippery especially on wet pavements. Walking in grace without falling is an achievement.
Love seeing this artwork! Thank you!
I was a frequent of this joint in the '90's when the old man Telis was still in charge. Simple honest food goes a long way.
Keep it up boss, great stuff
Appreciate it!
Cheers for the interest. Yh hes done several Greek ones, always watching out for the next one..Lycabettus Hill is on my list too for the next explore
watched the Harald Baldr angus burger a few years back ,wish he would of done more Athens videos, appreciate your content Alan, watched your last November Athens videos as choosing to places to visit for when i went in August, lycabettus hill is on my to do list
Cool video, ❤
As you can see it's pretty straightforward 😊
i never knew you could get to Monastiraki square straight down Ermou,i got a taxi and got ripped off because the taxi driver waiting at the rank at Monstiraki claimed his meter wasn't working,45 euros he wanted to get back to Syntagma, thank you for this video
Lend-lease M1’s?
These men belong to the official Greek military. The weapons are real and can be used in need.
What a joke, men in tights 😂
Have some respect. Men in the 1800s wore tights before women but women started to wear them and men became concerned they looked to womanly. What a joke.

Dolma relax
You need to read some european history. Pray you don't fall in the hands of these men as an enemy or as someone who disrespects our country
According to you, the more restrictions and limitations on men, the more manly they become---sick con job.
❤❤❤
Impeccably researched! Really enjoyed
Cheers 👌
