The lessons are fairly good, but in my opinion, the quality of the Uke used IS NOT!!! it sounds terrible & may even put beginners off playing the Uke.

Changing a key was totally new to me. Going to work on this on a couple of tunes like I’ll Try Away and Amazing Grace. Also BTW I am working every day. Yesterday I was able to move tunes from 60 BTM to 100 BTM . Thank you Ruth.

What a pretty song. Still working on taking you beginning songs on metronome at 60 bpm before I go up to 70. Also I am going to work on The Beatles Let It Be and see I’d I can pull it together on my own. Ruth, your lesson for beginner is excellent.

Hey, well done finally found someone who teaches slow and repetitive. ( I'm 66 so things are a bit harder to absorb these days) I gave my Uke away last time after giving up, but just ordered a new one and am determined to stick at it this time). Glad I found your channel. Enjoyed your intro to uke. I started on a 26" uke last week. I have been looking for good videos on learning. I am struggling with strumming and am trying to learn chords. Also, I am challenging myself to learn to play chords with only 2 fingers on my left hand (the reason is in my user name and those who know, know 😂) Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more from you.

Thank you for your lesson I am 77 yrs just learning to play an instrument. The ukulele II bought is a soprano Ukulele. I wish to learn hymns. I have tried a little from other ukulele teachers on TH-cam but I am trouble following the fingering.
