First crappie fishing trip of 2025 and it was a slabfest. The crappie were on fire. Got a quick limit. I was using a 1/16 ounce chartreuse arkie jig head with a tater baits small fry purple monkey and also a couple were caught on monkey milk Bobby garland baby shad. I had minnows with me but they were biting the jigs so well I didn’t need them. I caught and released several I didn’t show in the video so it wouldn’t be so long.
