Hey there, thank you so much for subscribing for watching. So I don’t have comfort in the Prius, but I do have it in my Highlander. I’m not sure what changes they have made as far as allowing us to stay in comfort mode, but I know there has been talk about them changing things upalso if your car is more than five years old, we no longer qualify. Your car has to be five years or newer to be able to take comfort rides. I drive in the Phoenix area. Another thing is you have to be at a certain tier as a driver. I know it affect things as far as pay goes. Stay safe out there God bless you.

Ouch… yeah it’s definitely not worth it driving part time. $500 was the unlimited mileage I assume. When it comes to renting I always preferred going to Ucars. Or another third party rental. Even Ubers rental program is better.

@@TheRideshareMinister even working 12 hours everyday is not worth it. U end up making $9 an hour when at my job I make $25 per hour. I feel violated by this system. Paying a thousand weekly for a rental nah time is to valuable to be giving it up to huge multimillionaire company.

Hello there 👋. No we’re not able to do Uber in a Lyft car and vice versa. I have a Prius that I own and use for both apps. Once in a while if I’m not truck driving then I’ll rent a different car from Uber or Lyft just to change things up and use a different car. I’m glad that you love hearing about the Gospel. Hey there driver! Well in the slow season you want to stay outta the west side unless it’s really early in the morning. From the I-17 eastward is where you want to stay. If you’re working days it needs to be really early like 3-4am then work until after the afternoon rush. Nights I would start around 4/5pm and work over night. Stay downtown Phx, Chandler, Scottsdale, Gilbert etc. don’t get discouraged. Turn on all the tiers that you can drive, X, shared, comfort, eats whatever you have . Also you can multi app with Lyft and Uber or DoorDash etc. whatever one pings a call then take it and turn the others off. Think about where people will be at the time of day you are working and follow the money. It’s not a nine to five so you may have to work all hours. Look at the app for concerts and events that are happening and take advantage of those too. The busy season is coming so there’s going to be plenty of work. Pack a lunch so you don’t have to spend. I usually end up in the mid $200s. But $300 is always the goal. I don’t usually wait at the airport unless it’s busy season with a surge. I’m only there to drop off people usually and then take one going out. If I do wait there I stay away from the trip radar unless it’s $20 or more. The airport is one place I DO cherry pick. Most drivers say that there’s no point in taking short rides but that’ll get you closer to the weekly quest bonus and usually after a couple small ones comes a $15-$20 ride. It balances out so for the most part I just take the rides back to back. Also as I’ve said to others, if you’re good with the people you can turn a $5 ride into a $10 ride if they like you and the service you provide. Staying positive can be challenging. Yeah I heard it’s good up there. I can make $400 here but the goal is minimum $300

Hey there 👋 It depends on the day. Last night I went out for 4 hours and made $100. I took every ride. Normally I take most of the rides they assign me unless they are constantly sending me 3-4 dollar rides then I will start to cherry pick. It’s very easy to turn a short ride into a good ride because of the tips. You can turn a three dollar ride into a 10 or $12 ride just by being good with the people that you pick up and connecting with them. Practice perfect driving but even more importantly learn to serve the people. If you offer good customer service like keeping a clean vehicle, opening the door for them and loading their luggage they will tip. Also know when to talk and not to talk is important. Pack a lunch so you don’t have to spend on the road. Grab a coffee or drink and take rides back to back to back all day and you’ll make money. Take care of your vehicle too. $1500 minimum is the goal my friend. Do I make that every week? No. My score is like 83% actually. If you work hard and strategize, between Lyft and Uber plus whatever cash, you should be able to make $1500 in any decent market.

Rideshare clearly isn’t the way to go nowadays unless you don’t have a choice. I do it because I love to do it. I’m a truck driver by trade. Good luck to you

Typically how many hours per 5 day week do you have to work to make 1300 a week? I'm in Philly and am thinking about renting thru Lyft only. BTW I am also a truck driver, I drive tankers

@@norfillyson it depends man. Sometimes you make it quicker than others. I usually like to work 10-12 hour days. If you work those hours you’ll clear that probably by Thursday or Friday.

@@TheRideshareMinister back in 2016 drove for Uber part time after work then in 2019 when I no longer drove I got sent an email about a class action lawsuit against uber. I signed it sent it back and forgot about it. Crazy thing is now I can no longer drive w uber, only lyft because I signed the class action.

Miami is the worse. I’m from Miami but lived in Cali. Was banking $250-325 daily in LA if I put the time in. 3 sets of 4 hr shifts. Tried that at home in Miami and I was fighting for my life to make $100. I started doing groceries there.

I like the gas and their apps are user friendly and just better to me. But as far as rewards goes yeah the upside app is great to use. Like I said.
