I believe it’s a college placement this persons doing, I think the college helps you choose the place to do it at, they contact them, check to make sure the placement people will treat you right and have what you need etc, make sure any needed accommodation is appropriate. I’d assume the college contacts the person, at least mine does. It can be different depending on the College but thought I’d give you some sort of answer lmao.

I don’t really know how I got into eventing, I used to just show jump with my old horse then when I went to millfield I just decided I wanted to event instead. I think I was just really keen to try cross country as it looked like so much fun! I also didn’t like how you would do so much prep for a show jumping competition and get there and just be in the ring for under a minute and be done. I love how with eventing you get to do more at events and show different skills in each phase!

Caitlin Oldham I completely agree! I do eventing and I could never imagine doing showjumping and being done in a few minutes. Just wouldn’t be for me 🙈 anyway love your channel and keep doing what you’re doing x

@@caitlinoldham4177 aww I'm glad! ☺️ I'm sooo excited for them to arrive, I couldn't work out which size I needed so the fact you tried them on really helped, I ordered a 28R so fingers crossed they fit! I havent actually been riding very long, only about 18months apart from when I was younger I rode for a couple years but I lost all my confidence when I got bucked off 🙈 didn't get back on a horse again until I was 18!! Very glad I did though as I absolutely love riding with my whole heart now. I've now competed twice with my university and made so many new friends through horses. Decided to treat myself last night to some ariat and le mieux gear, plus a new pair of jodhpur boots🥰 hope you are keeping safe and well during the current situation in the UK! I havent been able to ride at the moment due to the fact my mum is in the vulnerable category and she doesnt want me going to the yard to see my loan pony incase I catch something 🙁 so currently have my loan on hold. Cannot WAIT to get riding again when this is all over 😭 for the meantime though, watching equestrian TH-cam videos is getting me through it 💖 sorry for the long message 🙈
